Lemmy states that the album contains more nonsense than most of the previous album, the lyrics don't mean anything you can really get a hold of, but that they convey the mood, especially the title track and " Out of the Sun ".

Although its official release date is January 5, 1991, Lemmy states it " came out a few weeks earlier — on my birthday, as a matter of fact ", which is December 24, 1990 continuing to say " that's a really great song — maybe we'll put it back in the set one of these days ".

Lemmy is one of the characters in the book Sex Tips from Rock Stars by Paul Miles.

Lemmy has occasionally played electric or acoustic guitar, notably on the acoustic song " I Ain't No Nice Guy " from Motörhead's March Ör Die album, the title track on 1996's Overnight Sensation, " Limb from Limb " on Overkill ( on which he plays the second lead break ), " Boogeyman " on Rock ' n ' Roll, and a mouth harp on " Whorehouse Blues " from the Inferno album.

Slim Jim Phantom plays the drums in another rockabilly band, 13 Cats, as well as the Rock and Roll band The Head Cat with Lemmy ( Motörhead ) and Danny B. Harvey ( 13 Cats, RocKats ).

Rock icons such as Axl Rose of Guns N ' Roses ; Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead ; Ian Gillan of Deep Purple and many others no longer had any faith in the programme that had championed them and their music for so long.

Rock ' N ' Roll is the eighth album by the British band Motörhead and the first appearance of their four-piece line up of Lemmy, Phil " Philthy Animal " Taylor, Würzel and Phil Campbell, which lasted from 1987 until 1992.

Rock ' n ' Roll renewed commercial hope for Motörhead in the States with Lemmy and company moving to Los Angeles.

On March 27, 1982, Lemmy, Clarke and Taylor were interviewed by Tommy Vance on BBC Radio 1's ' Rock On Saturday ' show, " Iron Fist ", " Loser ", and " Speedfreak " were played.

On June 20, 1986, Lemmy was interviewed by Chris Tetley on BBC Radio 1's ' The Friday Rock Show ', " Deaf Forever ", " Dr. Rock " and " Nothing Up My Sleeve " were played.

Motorhead singer and legendary rock ' n roll star Lemmy features on the song " My Funeral ".

The high microphone position has become a Lemmy trademark.

Despite Motörhead's many member changes over their 35-year history, the current lineup of Lemmy, Phil Campbell and Mikkey Dee has remained constant since 1995.

Lemmy has also worked with a number of other musicians over his career and occasionally guests with Hawkwind.

Lemmy has noted in several magazine and television interviews that he made more money from the royalties of that one song than he had in his entire time with Motörhead.

An officially licensed Lemmy figurine has been produced.

Lemmy has made a number of appearances in film and television, including the 1990 science fiction film Hardware and the 1987 comedy Eat the Rich, for which Motörhead also recorded the soundtracks.

In the 1994 comedy Airheads ( in which he is credited as " Lemmy von Motörhead "), one scene involving Brendan Fraser, Adam Sandler, and Steve Buscemi, has Brendan Fraser's character, " Chazz " Chester Darvey talking to an undercover cop who is pretending to be a record executive — Chazz asks him, " Who'd win in a wrestling match, Lemmy or God?

Lemmy has also appeared in several movies from Troma Entertainment, including the narrator in 1996's Tromeo and Juliet and as himself in both Terror Firmer and Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV.

Lemmy has a cameo role in the film ‘’ Down and Out with the Dolls ’’ ( Kurt Voss 2001 ).

Lemmy recently has appeared on Down and Dirty with Jim Norton as the series deejay, and also created the theme music.

Maxim has Lemmy at number 8 on its top ten " Living Sex Legends " list, as they claim that he has slept with around 1, 200 women.

Lemmy collects Nazi memorabilia, and has an Iron Cross encrusted on his bass, which has led to accusations of Nazi sympathies.

It is also home to the local secondary school, Ysgol Syr Thomas Jones which Lemmy attended, and the town also has a primary school.

He has collaborated with Lemmy, co-writing " Lost Johnny " for Hawkwind, and " Keep Us on the Road " and " Damage Case " for Motörhead.

Lemmy Lindström left the band in 2008 and has since been featured on bands and projects like Saturn Twilight, Progeland and Corvus Stone.

Lemmy has claimed that this album would have been a hit, had the record company given proper distribution of the " I Ain't No Nice Guy " video clip .< ref >

" Lemmy views Sacrifice as one of his favourite records the band has made, despite the difficulties involved, which he explained as:

He worked with Hipgnosis before meeting Motörhead's Lemmy in 1975, he designed " War-Pig " ( aka Snaggletooth, The Iron Boar, The Bastard or The Little Bastard ) for the band's Motörhead album and has continued to design the majority of the album and single sleeve covers for the band.

Lemmy also appears briefly, but with some confiding words, in the Penelope Spheeris film " The Decline of the Western Civilization, Part II ".

Mario appears piloting a plane, chased by Lemmy Koopa riding on a Rocket, in some one-player game levels or in Level 2 of the two-player game.

The band went into the studio with some great songs, Lemmy recalls, although " Sex and Death " was written in ten minutes on the last day of recording, " In Another Time " was altered beyond all recognition and there were three sets of lyrics for " Make ' em Blind ".

The album features a number of guest vocalists ( including Lemmy, Chuck D, Corey Taylor, Ice-T, Tom Araya, Rancid and others ) singing Black Flag's songs.

Of the tracks, three (" Motorhead ", " The Watcher " and " Lost Johnny ") were re-recordings of songs Lemmy had written and recorded with Hawkwind, " City Kids " was a re-recording of a Wallis track co-written and recorded with The Pink Fairies, " Leaving Here " was a cover version of a Holland / Dozier / Holland Motown song Lemmy had learned whilst roadying for The Birds.

When his manager informed him that a band by the name of " Bastard " would never get a slot on " Top of the Pops ", Lemmy changed the band's name to " Motörhead " – the title of the last song he had written for Hawkwind.

", the cop replies, " Lemmy ", to which Rex, played by Steve Buscemi, imitates a game show buzzer and the cop quickly changes his answer to "...

They became interested in how long " you could make the human body jump about without stopping ", which they did for a few months, until Mik ran out of money and wanted to return to Hawkwind, taking Lemmy with him.

Calvert suffered from bipolar disorder, at one point being sectioned under the Mental Health Act, Lemmy would sing on the single version of " Silver Machine ", his vocal an overdub of a live recording taken at the Roundhouse in London.

Among others, Lemmy Kilmister will invariably be referred to as " Lemmy out of Motörhead ", Bono as " Bonio " ( a brand of dog biscuit ) and Sting as " Sting ( real name Gordon Sting )", mixing the singer's birth and stage names.

On Motörhead's 1999 live album Everything Louder Than Everyone Else, before the song " No Class ", Motörhead vocalist Lemmy said that he wanted to dedicate this song officially to her.

The album's first single, " Full of Regret ", features Elijah Wood, Lemmy Kilmister, Selma Blair and Mike Watt in the accompanying video.

This album caught Lemmy at his most ferocious, hitting hard at the police in " Lawman ", marriage and how his father left him and his mother in " Poison ", television in " Talking Head " and show business in " All the Aces ".

Going on to say that with the exception of the bluesy " Step Down ", the tracks are full of the characteristic sound of the classic line-up of Lemmy, Clarke and Taylor, with Clarke ’ s solo in " All the Aces " described as " blistering " and Lemmy spitting out intentions to ‘ poison his wife ’ in the life-reflecting " Poison " making it a sound of metal-dripping brilliance.

When Lemmy listened to one of the mixes of " Going to Brazil ", he asked for him to turn up four tracks, and on doing so heard claves and tambourines Stasium had added.

This however, was proven untrue when he appeared on the 2005 documentary " Ace Of Spades: Classic Albums ", alongside Lemmy Kilmister and former members of Motörhead, frequently joking about his supposed demise.

It also includes three non-Motörhead tracks: Girlschool's cover version of Motörhead's " Bomber ", a cover version of Johnny Kidd & The Pirates ' " Please Don't Touch " performed by the Motörhead / Girlschool collaboration Headgirl, and Hawkwind's original version of " Motörhead ", the song from which Motörhead frontman Lemmy took the band's name after being fired from Hawkwind.
