Looptroop Rockers is a hip hop group from Västerås, Sweden.

On their fourth album, Good Things, the group changed its name from Looptroop to Looptroop Rockers, a name they've used unofficially for some years prior to the change.

After Cos. M. I. C left the group, they have also officially changed the group name from Looptroop to Looptroop Rockers!

Looptroop Rockers released their fourth album Good Things on 23 April 2008.

On 21 May 2010 Looptroop Rockers announced on their website that they were working on a new album.

In 1998, Looptroop started their own record label, David Vs. Goliath ( commonly referred to as DVSG ), and with distribution handled by the Swedish punkrock label Burning Heart Records they released their full-length debut album Modern Day City Symphony in 2000.

A number of renowned rock and pop-oriented artists have come out of the country in recent years, including Loreen, Eskobar, Jenny Wilson, bob hund, Clawfinger, The Sounds, Peter Bjorn and John, Miike Snow, The Hives, Hardcore Superstar, Millencolin, Sahara Hotnights, Dungen, Loney, Dear, The Hellacopters, The Ark, Infinite Mass, Mando Diao, Shout Out Louds, Looptroop, José González, Caesars and Supergroupies.

In 2002 Looptroop released their second album The Struggle Continues.

Looptroop was formed in 1991 by Promoe and Embee.

Infinite Mass is, alongside The Latin Kings and Looptroop, one of the more important groups that has emerged from the Swedish hip hop scene.

They also worked in Japan under the name the Canadian Rockers.

The portrayal of its protagonist ( Jimmy Cliff ) as an aspiring musician who is forced to sign away his rights to make a hit record depicts the role of record producers and radio DJs as a dominance-the musician ends up with no aspirations or living the same lifestyle ( as in the case of the film Rockers ).

Richard Berry was inspired to write the song in 1955 after listening to and performing the song " El Loco Cha Cha " with Ricky Rillera and the Rhythm Rockers.

In spite of his success with Rockers, Pablo's 1974 album, This Is Augustus Pablo was recorded with Clive and Pat Chin.

This period was eventually commemorated with critically acclaimed LPs including King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown ( 1976 ) and Hugh Mundell's classic Africa Must be Free by 1983.

C Duke, The Demon Boyz ( Million Dan ), Thrashpack, Asher D and Daddy Freddy, CJ Macintosh & Einstein, She Rockers ( Betty Boo ), Hijack and many more.
