In 2008, LACMA made a formal offer to merge with MOCA and to help that museum raise new money from donors.

Additional anchors of the project currently under construction include the $ 66 million expansion of the Cleveland Institute of Art and the $ 32 million new home for the Museum of Contemporary Art ( MOCA ).

In 2010, Boredoms toured internationally including two Boadrum performances at All Tomorrow's Parties curated by Matt Groening at Butlins Minehead, England, in addition to shows in London, Japan, Mexico and as part of the Melbourne International Arts Festival on October 10, 2010.

In 2000, he curated the London South Bank Centre's annual summer live music festival, Meltdown, which has a tradition of celebrity curators.

The London Musicians ' Collective originally put together a four-week programme of radio art as part of 1998's Meltdown festival at the South Bank Centre, curated by John Peel.

Bourriaud was the Gulbenkian curator of contemporary art from 2008-2010 at Tate Britain, London, and in 2009 he curated the fourth Tate Triennial there, entitled Altermodern .< ref >
