Malmö also known to host other 3rd party events that cater to all communities that reside in Malmö, including religious and political celebrations.

Malmö is also home to the Egmont media group's Swedish magazine operations.

There are 3 urban areas ( also called a tätort or locality ) in Burlöv Municipality including Arlöv, which statistically is a part of the Malmö urban area.

As Burlöv also is notably small, Lomma Municipality almost borders to Malmö Municipality too.

Lomma Municipality is also considered part of Metropolitan Malmö, showing itself for instance by the 6, 500 commuters that live in there.

The municipality was inhabited by a few hundred people until the railways came in the late 19th century, and the town Nybro was in its location between Kalmar on the east coast and Gothenburg on the west coast ; later also on the railway from Kalmar and Malmö in the south-west.
