Righteous Brothers Bill Medley's son, Darrin Medley, also sang and performed with Paul Revere & the Raiders.

Further, it constitutes the last third of the track Medley on the 1988 album If I Should Fall from Grace with God by The Pogues ( the two first parts being Recruiting sergeant and an instrumental version of Rocky Road to Dublin ).

Unlike most singles, " Zero " was released as an EP and included " Pastichio Medley ", a medley of parts of songs from the Mellon Collie sessions that mostly remain unreleased.

The track " Black Sabbath Medley " is a CD bonus track and is composed of parts of songs from Black Sabbath, namely: " Symptom of the Universe ", " Sweet Leaf ", " Sabbath Bloody Sabbath ", " Into the Void ", " Electric Funeral ", " Supernaut ", " Black Sabbath ".

Medley and Hatfield both possessed exceptional vocal talent, with range, control and tone that helped them create a strong and distinctive duet sound and also to perform as soloists.

Medley recorded a few solo recordings on several labels, while Bobby Hatfield teamed briefly with another singer, Jimmy Walker ( drummer and one of the singers of the Knickerbockers, of " Lies " fame ), using the Righteous Brothers ' name, but neither he nor Medley was able to achieve any significant level of success.

Medley also had solo success: In 1984, he scored country hits with " Till Your Memory's Gone " and " I Still Do " ( which crossed over to the adult contemporary charts and later became a " cult " hit with the Carolina Beach / Shag dance club circuit ); and in late 1987, his duet with Jennifer Warnes — "( I've Had ) The Time of My Life ", which appeared on the soundtrack for Dirty Dancing — topped the Billboard Hot 100 and won both an Academy Award and a Golden Globe Award for Best Original Song for a Motion Picture ( for the three songwriters, which did not include Medley ) as well as a Grammy Award for Best Pop Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals ( which, of course, did ).

"( I've Had ) The Time of My Life " is now seen and heard ubiquitously on TV and radio commercials — covered by singers other than Medley and Warnes — usually connected with vacation, cruise, resort, and other such holiday-themed advertisers aimed at those looking at what to do with their dream holiday excursions.

Bobby Hatfield was found dead in his hotel room in Kalamazoo, Michigan on November 5, 2003, half an hour before he was due to perform a concert with Bill Medley at Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium.

Harry Rosenbloom, founder of the ( now-closed ) Medley Music of Bryn Mawr, Pennsylvania, was manufacturing handmade guitars under the name " Elger.

Their next release in 1966, "( You're My ) Soul and Inspiration " was a Phil Spector sound-alike song, produced by Bill Medley, who was able to fully simulate the Spector style of production.

An excerpt from the recording was included in " Haley's Golden Medley ", a hastily-compiled single in the " Stars on 45 " mold which made the UK record charts in 1982, reaching number 50.

In April 1981, Bill Haley & His Comets returned to the British musical charts once again when MCA Records ( inheritors of the Decca catalog ) released " Haley's Golden Medley ", a hastily compiled edit of the band's best known hits in the style of the then-popular " Stars on 45 " format.

The other exceptions include a boy's choir " Christmas Medley " played while the characters drive through Los Angeles, the Molto allegro from Mozart's Jupiter Symphony ( heard as Annie and Alvy drive through the countryside ), Tommy Dorsey's performance of " Sleepy Lagoon ", and the muzak version of the Savoy Brown song " A Hard Way to Go ", playing over a party in the mansion of Paul Simon's character.

Tony Medley gave the film one star out of ten, criticising the script and the acting, especially from Breslin and Culkin.
