The territory includes Ashmore Reef ( West, Middle, and East Islets ) and Cartier Island ( 70 km east ) with, a total area of within the reefs and including the lagoons, and 114, 400 m² of dry land.

Most of the forests are evergreen, but there are areas of deciduous forest on North Andaman, Middle Andaman, Baratang and parts of South Andaman Island.

Interview Island ( the largest wildlife sanctuary in the territory ) in Middle Andaman holds a population of feral elephants, which were brought in for forest work by a timber company and released when the company went bankrupt.

Languages in the Nigerian Middle Belt such as Janji, Gbiri-Niragu ( Kahugu ), the Nimbia dialect of Gwandara ; the Chepang_language of Nepal and the Mahl language of Minicoy Island in India are known to use duodecimal numerals.

Besides the main island, there are three small islets at the mouth of the lagoon: West Island ( 3. 4 ha / 8. 4 acres ); Middle Island ( 6 ha / 14. 8 acres ); and East Island ( 11. 75 ha / 29 acres ).

A fourth island shown on some maps, Anniversary Island one km ( 1, 100 yards ) southwest of Middle Island, appears as just a sand bar on satellite images.

Both Middle Island and Anniversary Island are part of the Spur Reef complex.

Due to their diminutive size and the introduction of new predators, some colonies have been reduced in size by as much as 98 % in just a few years, such as the small colony on Middle Island, near Warrnambool, Victoria, which was reduced from 5000 penguins to 100.

Little Penguins on Middle Island in Warrnambool, Victoria were subject to heavy predation by foxes, which could reach the island at low tide by a tidal sand bridge.

Pelee Island and Middle Island in Lake Erie extend slightly farther.

Under the Köppen climate parameters, Point Pelee and Middle Island, the southernmost parts of Canada located close to the lake boundary with Ohio, are at the dividing line of a humid continental climate and a humid subtropical climate ( Dfa / Cfa ).

Roe built a house in Selden along Middle Country Road before the Revolutionary War.

Roe is buried in a small family cemetery south of Middle Country road behind the Old Westfield shopping center.

Also, there are many groups such as the Linglestown Middle School band and chorus, as well as other themed clubs such as the History Classic Film Club and the Outdoor Sports Club.

The Middle Tennessee Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America holds their antique car show in Red Boiling Springs each year.
