His leadership is challenged by Barney Gumble, who throws a Molotov Cocktail at him, which Moe successfully throws back.

Moe is also kind towards the rats that live in his bar.

In " Flaming Moe's " ( 1991 ), he is called Morris by his lover, while in " The Springfield Connection " ( 1995 ), Homer refers to Moe by the Arabic " Moammar ", and in " Eeny Teeny Maya Moe " ( 2009 ), he suggests that he only changed his name to Moe when he purchased Moe's Tavern.

They also scoured the minor leagues for selections in the Rule 5 draft ( Paul Blair from the Mets in 1962, Moe Drabowsky from the Cardinals in 1965 ) and claims off waivers ( Curt Blefary, 1965 AL Rookie of the Year, from the Yankees in 1963 ).

Kool Moe Dee states that Biggie introduced a newer flow which “ dominated from 1994 to 2002 ”, and also says that Method Man was “ one of the emcees from the early to mid -’ 90s that ushered in the era of flow ... Hans has also been kept as a prisoner by Moe Szyslak in The Computer Wore Menace Shoes.

He also has a relationship and proposed to a little person named Maya, but Maya broke up with him after Moe kept cracking jokes about her height.

With the song still playing, he also knocks out Moe and Larry, and then walks toward the camera, still " woo-woo-wooing ".

During an interview, guitarist Al Schnier was asked to describe Moe for those who have never heard their music: " It's an amalgamation of a wide variety of the history of rock, all regurgitated and recycled through the eyes, ears, hands, whatever of the guys in our band and all of that with a sense of adventure, a sense of humor, also a constant desire to push the envelope.

Kool G is described by Kool Moe Dee as " the progenitor and prototype for Biggie, Jay-Z, Treach, Nore, Fat Joe, Big Pun, and about twenty-five more hard-core emcees ", and Kool Moe Dee also claims Kool G Rap is " the most lyrical " out of all of the artists mentioned.

Artists and critics often credit Rakim with creating the overall shift from the more simplistic Old School flows to more complex flows near the beginning of Hip Hop ’ s new school – Kool Moe Dee says, “ any emcee that came after 1986 had to study Rakim just to know what to be able to do ... Rakim, in 1986, gave us flow and that was the rhyme style from 1986 to 1994 ... from that point on, anybody emceeing was forced to focus on their flow ”.

However, he realized that Moe and Larry's careers would be finished without the Stooge act.

Despite his creepy approach, Moe has showed to be a caring and devoted lover.

Despite his faults, Moe has been shown to express genuine love and sentimentality, which suggests that he may not be as gruff or sociopathic as he appears.

Later, in " Bart-Mangled Banner " ( 2004 ), he reveals himself to be Dutch, and in " Lisa Goes Gaga " ( 2012 ), Moe describes himself as " half monster, half Armenian.

Writers Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein found the name in a phonebook and gave it to Moe so that he would have the initials M. S., and hence be a suspect in the Burns shooting.
