Fifth Avenue memorial to architect Richard Morris Hunt, founder of the Municipal Art Society

In 1983 Philip Morris installed a Whitney branch in the lobby of its Park Avenue headquarters.

The route continues northwest through residential and commercial areas of Neptune City as a four-lane, undivided highway before heading north as a two-lane, undivided road called Morris Avenue.

It runs from an intersection with U. S. Route 46 in Roxbury Township, Morris County east to County Route 577 / County Route 677 ( Prospect Avenue ) in West Orange, Essex County.

In 1952, Route 10 was designated to run along a new, never-built alignment farther to the north, running through Belleville, Bloomfield, Glen Ridge, Montclair, West Orange, and along the Livingston / Roseland border, roughly along much of the routing of present-day County Route 611 ( Eagle Rock Avenue ), and following its current alignment through Morris County to Ledgewood.

Route 57 eastbound heading into Washington Township, Morris County, New Jersey | StephensburgPast this intersection, Route 57 enters Washington Boro, where it becomes Washington Avenue.

It crosses back into Washington Township, where Route 57 becomes the Morris and Essex Turnpike again, crossing over a Norfolk Southern rail line before intersecting County Route 630 ( Washburn Avenue ) and County Route 651 ( McCullough Road ) in Port Colden.

* 25px U. S. Highway 190 ( Thomas Street / Morris Avenue ) parallels I-12 and goes east-west through the city's commercial and historic downtown areas.

The Orange and Highland Avenue stations provide New Jersey Transit train service along the Morris & Essex Lines ( formerly Erie Lackawanna Railway ).

Morris Avenue School ( PreK-2 ; 377 ),

A surviving example of architecture constructed during this era is the Martin Maloney Cottage on Morris Avenue next to the tycoon's former and no longer existent Ballingarry Estate.

The Berkeley Heights Public library at 290 Plainfield Avenue, next to the Church of the Little Flower and across from the Columbia Middle School, is a member of the Infolink region of libraries, the Morris Union Federation ( MUF ) and the Middlesex Union Reciprocal Agreement Libraries ( MURAL ).

Midtown ( Broad Street and Morris Avenue ), also occasionally known as Uptown, is the main commercial district.

Also found here is Morris Avenue which is home to many Colombian stores and restaurants.

The wealthy Kean family also donated the land on Morris Avenue and helped to establish Newark Normal College in 1885, which was renamed Kean College, and later Kean University, in the family's honor.

The philosophy of the school was basically unchanged from that of the original, and its headquarters was the Prairie Avenue mansion that architect Richard Morris Hunt designed for department store magnate Marshall Field.

Route 57 enters Hackettstown, where it becomes the Morris and Essex Turnpike before coming to its terminus at an intersection with the southern terminus of Route 182 and County Route 517, which continues south from this intersection as well as north along Route 182.

A later Morris Oxford ( the 1956 Morris Oxford III ) was the basis for the design of India's famous Hindustan Ambassador, which continues in production to the present day.

The route continues southward along Morris, heading through the business district of Springfield.

The highway continues southward along Morris Avenue, entering further into Union, where it serves as the main road to the community.

Morris Avenue continues eastward as Union County Route 629.

The western end is at an intersection with U. S. Route 202 and County Route 510 in Morristown, Morris County ; the eastern end continues as County Route 603 on Springfield Avenue at the border between Maplewood and Irvington in Essex County.

Here, Route 82 continues southeast on Morris Avenue, County Route 509 Spur heads south, and County Route 577 heads north.
