Most pre-1950 Paramount releases are owned by EMKA, Ltd ./ NBCUniversal Television Distribution, while Paramount ( currently owned by Viacom ) holds on to most of its post-1949 releases, which are handled for television by Trifecta Entertainment & Media.

NBCUniversal, an MCA successor, currently holds this library.

It is a sister network to Comcast's other sports networks, which includes sister national channels Golf Channel and the NBC Sports Network ( formally Versus ), which were transferred into a merged NBCUniversal in which Comcast holds majority ownership in 2011.

The channel is now called Wapa Tiempo instead of El Canal del Tiempo to avoid confusion with The Weather Channel from NBCUniversal.

Meet the Press originates on NBC in the United States, with additional telecasts on various other NBCUniversal channels, including MSNBC in the U. S. and Canada, CNBC Europe in Europe, and CNBC Asia in Asia.

After the show was released to syndication in 1994, the series distributed with Warner Bros. Television Distribution, which continues to distribute the show worldwide ( although NBCUniversal does own the series ' copyright ).

The sale was completed on January 28, 2011 with General Electric owning 49 % of the newly formed NBCUniversal.

The cable network is owned by A + E Networks, which in turn is jointly owned by Hearst Corporation and The Walt Disney Company, with a former 15 % stake from NBCUniversal, which was later sold to Disney and Hearst.

NBCUniversal was also a part of the joint venture, with Hearst and Disney each owning a 42. 5 % stake and NBCUniversal owning a 15 % stake, but in July 2012, NBCUniversal confirmed plans to sell its 15. 8 % stake in A + E Networks to Disney and Hearst, who will become 50-50 partners in the joint venture.

Although contractually allowed to produce any film with a budget of up to $ 35 million, on a practical basis, Bevan and Fellner consult with studio executive at Working Title's parent company NBCUniversal.

Working Title Television is a joint venture with NBCUniversal and will be based in London and Los Angeles.

Ten Sports and media company NBCUniversal launched a new, free, cricket-focused multi-platform sports portal, which made its debut with the Web cast coverage of the first match in the series between New Zealand and Sri Lanka on September 8, 2009.

In 2004, Vivendi ( the owner of Canal +) decided to merge its media assets with GE to form NBCUniversal, it retained a 50 % in both Canal + and StudioCanal, that has remained the case even after the sale of the stake to GE & Comcast
