On the wall of the first floor of No. 6, there is a large metal plaque with a portrait of Cecil Rhodes ; underneath is the inscription:

No Liubo board or Liubo game pieces were found in the tomb, and because of the inscription " take a drink " ( 酒來 ) on one face of the die, the die and sets of tokens are supposed to have been used for a drinking game.

The inscription Quaerendo invenietis, found over Canon No. 9, alludes to the Sermon on the Mount (“ Seek and ye shall find ”, Matthew 7: 7, Luke 11: 9 ).

No trace of any such inscription survives, and there is considerable disagreement to the exact wording of the text.
