In 2003 a new show named after her aired on children's television channels such as Treehouse in Canada and Noggin in the U. S. from April 7, 2003 through April 1, 2007.

The on-screen title is " The Saga of Noggin the Nog ", since the stories were based on the principle of a Norse saga, and episodes began with the words, " Listen to me and I will tell you the story of Noggin the Nog, as it was told in the days of old ", or " In the lands of the North, where the Black Rocks stand guard against the cold sea, in the dark night that is very long the Men of the Northlands sit by their great log fires and they tell a tale ... and those tales they tell are the stories of a kind and wise king and his people ; they are the Sagas of Noggin the Nog.
Visually, it was primarily inspired by the Lewis chessmen ( of Norse origin ), in fact one story is about Noggin playing chess with Nogbad the Bad.
The reason for the change is yet unknown, but could possibly due to the fact the Nick Jr brand is more well known in the United Kingdom than Noggin.

This was followed by Noggin the Nog for the BBC, which established Smallfilms as a safe and reliable pair of hands to produce children's entertainment, when there were only two UK television channels.
The earlier shows did not resurface until February 2, 1999, when the Noggin network, which was partly owned by Sesame Workshop at the time, rebroadcast the show as a result of its co-ownership of the network.

John Pye, a model maker originally from Dagenham Essex UK, grew up watching the classic British children's TV shows, " Ivor the Engine " and " Noggin the Nog " ( made by Oliver Postgates Smallfilms ) Not only did Pye write the scripts and the incidental music but was also responsible for making most of the models.
