In 2003 a new show named after her aired on children's television channels such as Treehouse in Canada and Noggin in the U. S. from April 7, 2003 through April 1, 2007.

On September 28, 2009, the new logo is used across Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite, along with the rebranded TeenNick, Nick Jr. and Nicktoons ( formerly The N, Noggin and Nicktoons Network, respectively ) channels in varying versions customized for brand unification and refreshment purposes ; a new logo for Nickelodeon Productions also began being used in end credit tags on all Nickelodeon shows, even on episodes aired before the new logo took effect ( end credit tags of programs airing on TeenNick, Nick Jr. and some shows on Nicktoons only use the current Nickelodeon Productions logo and variants for their respective channel's original programming on episodes of series made after the rebrand ).

It then aired a bumper, but it was cut off halfway through and was replaced by The N, which became a 24-hour channel after splitting from sister station Noggin ( now Nick Jr .).

In 2003, Oswald started airing on Noggin and continued to air after September 28, 2009 when it was renamed as Nick Jr .. Oswald was removed from the Nick Jr. lineup on February 29, 2012, but later returned.

The show started airing on Noggin's counterpart, Nick Jr., on January 1, 2004, roughly 9 months after its official debut on Noggin.

Both Mathnet and Square One went off the air in 1994 ( it was rerun until then after the final 1992 season was completed ), reappearing from 1999 – 2003 on the cable television network Noggin, a joint venture of Nickelodeon and CTW.

Noggin started broadcasting in 2009 after replacing the former Nick Jr. on TMF block.

Idol switched from guitar to vocal duties, and Bob " Derwood " Andrews joined as lead guitarist after leaving the Fulham band ' Paradox ' which included well known local musicians of the time, Gary Claydon and Chris " Noggin " McCullough. This was the band that were at the centre of the infamous riot at Fulham Art centre in 1976, which is where Billy Idol first saw Bob Andrews.

The first song after the 8am news is called Noddin Yer Noggin.

TeenNick, which has more relaxed program standards than the other Nickelodeon channels allowing for moderate profanity, suggestive dialogue and some violent content ( though Nickelodeon series and some off-network programs airing on the channel do not include this ), once shared the evening and overnight portion of each day with Noggin as The N ( in a similar manner to Nickelodeon and Nick at Nite ) starting with The N's initial launch on April 1, 2002, but on December 31, 2007 it took over Nickelodeon GAS's satellite transponder and became a stand-alone channel.

During the same period as the Noggin rebroadcasts, numerous fans of the program produced QuickTime and MP3 clips from the Noggin rebroadcasts, old over-the-air recordings, and, in some cases, from master recordings.

Noggin the Nog is a popular British children's character appearing in his own TV series ( of the same name ) and series of illustrated books, the brainchild of Oliver Postgate and Peter Firmin.

In 1999, CTW partnered in a joint venture with Viacom's Nickelodeon to launch Noggin, a 24-hour cable channel aimed at 6-13 year olds ; Viacom's MTV Networks division ( which also operates Nickelodeon ) operated the channel with CTW and MTV Networks jointly owning Noggin.

Nickelodeon announced in February 2009 that Noggin and The N were to be rebranded as Nick Jr. and TeenNick to bring both channels in line with the Nickelodeon brand identity.

Though the show went off the air in 1988, it appeared in reruns from 1999 to 2003 on the cable television network Noggin, then a joint venture of CTW and Nickelodeon.

For all these Nickelodeon and Noggin airings, the series was rated TV-Y7 ( possibly due to the target audience ).

Maisy is also an animated series developed by Nickelodeon from 1999 – 2001 and aired on Noggin ( now Nick Jr .) from February 2, 1999 to November 2007.

MTV Networks launched and operated networks including: Nickelodeon, Nick at Night, VH1, Comedy Central, TV Land, Spike, Country Music Channel, Logo, Noggin, and others.

The show was originally broadcast on Nickelodeon, and several years later, the show was picked up by Noggin / Nick Jr., and aired from 1999 to 2004.

They played non-stop music videos, as well as several new Nickelodeon spin-off channels, such as Nick GAS, NickToons Network, The N, Noggin, VH1 Classic, CMT Pure Country, MTV2, and MTVX.

Children's television is nearly as old as television itself, with early examples including shows such as Play School, Captain Tugg, The Magic Roundabout, Howdy Doody, Ivor the Engine, Clangers, Noggin the Nog, Bill and Ben, Sali Mali, TUGS, Captain Kangaroo and Mister Rogers ' Neighborhood.

Noggin himself is a simple, kind and unassuming King of the Northmen in a roughly Viking-age setting, with various fantastic elements such as dragons, flying machines and talking birds.

The on-screen title is " The Saga of Noggin the Nog ", since the stories were based on the principle of a Norse saga, and episodes began with the words, " Listen to me and I will tell you the story of Noggin the Nog, as it was told in the days of old ", or " In the lands of the North, where the Black Rocks stand guard against the cold sea, in the dark night that is very long the Men of the Northlands sit by their great log fires and they tell a tale ... and those tales they tell are the stories of a kind and wise king and his people ; they are the Sagas of Noggin the Nog.

Visually, it was primarily inspired by the Lewis chessmen ( of Norse origin ), in fact one story is about Noggin playing chess with Nogbad the Bad.

The reason for the change is yet unknown, but could possibly due to the fact the Nick Jr brand is more well known in the United Kingdom than Noggin.

This was followed by Noggin the Nog for the BBC, which established Smallfilms as a safe and reliable pair of hands to produce children's entertainment, when there were only two UK television channels.

The earlier shows did not resurface until February 2, 1999, when the Noggin network, which was partly owned by Sesame Workshop at the time, rebroadcast the show as a result of its co-ownership of the network.

In 1992 a fully illustrated 96-page colour book published by Harper Collins titled The Sagas of Noggin the Nog.

Noggin has received an accolade achieved by very few Norse characters – he appeared with the Ice Dragon reading him a note from Nogbad, on a British commemorative postage stamp ( SG1804 ) in January 1994.

As of 2003, Noggin no longer airs any shows produced by Sesame Workshop.

However, only 65 episodes were leased by the Noggin network.

A TV series was made in 2008 by Mercury Filmworks, National Geographic Kids, Treehouse TV and Noggin with the pilot " Free Falling Friends / Carried Favors.

Noggin was the first commercial children's television channel launched on 30 January 2006 on TMF to air on the UK's DTT platform, Freeview, followed by CITV, then lastly Playhouse Disney on ABC1.

Berkner has also appeared in Jamarama Live !, a touring music festival for children sponsored by Noggin, and in the 2006 Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

John Pye, a model maker originally from Dagenham Essex UK, grew up watching the classic British children's TV shows, " Ivor the Engine " and " Noggin the Nog " ( made by Oliver Postgates Smallfilms ) Not only did Pye write the scripts and the incidental music but was also responsible for making most of the models.

Originally launching on February 2, 1999 and based on the former Noggin, which starting in 2002, shared channel space with the teen-oriented The N ( now TeenNick, and operating as a separate channel from Nick Jr. since December 31, 2007 ), the network was rebranded Nick Jr. as of September 28, 2009.

A digitally restored DVD of the series was released in April 2006 and the restored version currently airs on Noggin and Nick Jr Classics.

On September 28, 2009, the network's logo changed as part of Nickelodeon's universal rebranding effort that also saw Nickelodeon's first logo change in 25 years, and name changes for sister networks: The N to TeenNick and Noggin to Nick Jr.

Publishers Kay and Ward created a series of books from each of the Noggin the Nog episodes, which were then extended into the series called Noggin First Reader, a series aimed at aiding initial reading skills.

One of Nickelodeon's digital spinoff channels was, like its parent channel, divided so that preschool-oriented programs would air during the day as " Noggin " and teen-oriented programs aired at night as " The N ", this format lasted from April 2002 to December 2007 ( these two blocks are now their own separate channels, Nick Jr. and TeenNick, and both broadcast 24 hours a day ).
