Alan Paige Lightman ( born November 28, 1948 in Memphis, Tennessee ) is an American physicist, writer, and social entrepreneur.

In addition, the audience is introduced to the also stereotypical Irish American wife ( Harriet Sansom Harris ), who helps in the pub but is generally a traditional middle-aged housewife ( but oddly has little problems accepting her soon-to-be daughter-in-law's parents ), as well as the couple's tough-but-kind daughter ( Paige Moss ), who waitresses in the family's bar.

What is undeniable is that Bell was considered to be one of the greats of his time by all the men he played with ( including Satchel Paige and Josh Gibson ).

Born in Monticello, Mississippi, Paige is the son of public school educators.

Dr. Paige then taught health and physical education and coached at Hinds Agricultural High School and what is now Utica Junior College ( located on the same campus ) in Utica, MIssissippi from 1957 to 1963.

Superintendent Paige made HISD the first school district in the state to institute performance contracts modeled on those in the private sector, whereby senior staff members ' continued employment with HISD is based on their performance.

Paige is a member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

She later becomes the middle sister after Prue Halliwell is killed and the series introduces her younger half-sister Paige Matthews.

This incident leads to Phoebe and Piper discovering that Paige is their younger half-sister.

Paige Matthews is a fictional character from the television series Charmed.

One of the featured leads, Paige is introduced at the start of season four as the fourth Halliwell sister and youngest Charmed Oneone of the most powerful witches of all time.

During the start of season four, Paige is introduced in the two-part episode " Charmed Again ( Part 1 )" and "( Part 2 )" originally aired as back-to-back episodes on October 4, 2001.

Later in the series, one of the reoccurring struggles for Paige is finding an identity for herself outside of her role as a Charmed One.

Once she develops more control over her witchcraft Paige is able to help her sisters ' avenge Prue's death and vanquish the Source twice – both in his original incarnation and that of his next incarnation, Cole Turner.

At the start of season five ( 2002 – 2003 ), Paige is officially promoted to social worker in the episode, " A Witch's Tail ( Part 1 )", but by the end of the second episode, " A Witch's Tail ( Part 2 )", Paige quits her job to pursue being a witch full-time.

When Piper gives birth to a boy she names Wyatt, he is given the middle name Matthew in honor of his protective aunt Paige.

Also in this season, Paige becomes the second person to discover that the sisters ' new time-traveling Whitelighter Chris Perry ( Drew Fuller ) is actually Chris Halliwell and the second child of Piper and Leo.

After the series end, it is shown in flashforwards that Paige accepts her role as a Whitelighter, aiding many witches and future Whitelighters that include her nieces and nephews.

It is also revealed that Paige and Henry's marriage will produce three children, twin daughters and a son.

In the comic series, Paige is working as a full-time Whitelighter and can also be seen helping Leo at Magic School with his students.

What has been seen as a cold side to her personality was also noted by Logan, but Paige has said that a common misconception of her is that she is confident and very serious.

Within the series, Paige Matthews is the first Whitelighter hybrid seen on-screen.

Paige was seen fighting a Nimrod with Roberto DaCosta, Avalanche and Boom-Boom and then again after the Nimrods were depowered ( due to Cypher ).

Paige is a member of the Marauders and constantly fighting with her brother, Cannonball.

He and Paige had a love-hate relationship that started as constant fighting but later they became lovers although the relationship eventually ended.
