Phuture ( now called Phuture 303 ) is a Chicago-based acid house group founded in 1985 by Spanky, DJ Pierre and Herb J.

Its only albums, however, have been Alpha & Omega ( 1997 )— the first release since the group renamed itself Phuture 303 — and Survival's Our Mission ( 2003 ), the title referencing the opening lyrics of the 1988 single " We are Phuture.

In Early 2007, Rachael Cain being the driving force and face of the label — she founded a new record label called Phuture Trax Records, which she currently owns and operates along with her TV show Trax Television.

From the outset the band's objective was to develop their style which was influenced by the musical elements of Detroit techno artists Derrick May, Juan Atkins and Kevin Saunderson, as well as the Chicago house music sound of Phuture and early electronic heroes Kraftwerk.

This was followed by six further releases later in the year from artists Austin, M & M, Rachel Wallace, Run Tings, Phuture Assassins and QBass.
