A Monkees television show marathon (" Pleasant Valley Sunday ") broadcast on 23 February 1986 by MTV resulted in a wave of Monkeemania not seen since the group's heyday.

King ’ s songs " Pleasant Valley Sunday ", " Sometime in the Morning ", and " The Porpoise Song ( Theme From Head )" have emerged as signature songs from The Monkees.

Horgan produced the six tracks ( which included two Monkees covers, " Shades Of Gray " and " Pleasant Valley Sunday "), with George Dispigno as engineer.

" Tork recorded a second set of demos in New York City, but little is known about these ( other than the fact that one track was a yet another version of " Pleasant Valley Sunday " with an unknown rock band, and featured a violin solo ).

Many of the city's more affluent residents, both black and white, left the city after the war, moving to neighboring Alameda, Berkeley, Albany and El Cerrito to the north ; to San Leandro, Hayward, Castro Valley and Fremont in Southern Alameda County ; and to the newly developing East Bay suburbs, Orinda, Lafayette, Pleasant Hill, Walnut Creek and Concord.

In September, 1887, near Holbrook in what is now Navajo County, Owens was involved in one of the Old West's most famous gunfights, when he killed three men and wounded a fourth while serving a warrant on outlaw Andy Blevins / Andy Cooper, an active participant in a raging range war, later dubbed the Pleasant Valley War.

The route heads through Point Pleasant Beach and crosses the Manasquan River on the Brielle Bridge, meeting Route 34 and Route 70 at the former Brielle Circle in Wall Township.
