Porcelly later started the bands Never Surrender and Last of the Famous, and ran a record label called Fight Fire With Fire and the website TrueTillDeath. com, but all these projects seem to be either scrapped or inactive.

John Porcelly went on to tour and record with Hare Krishna hardcore band Shelter ( featuring Ray Cappo of Youth Of Today, as well as a revolving line-up of more and less well-known hardcore musicians, including Tom Capone of Bold and Quicksand, and Vic DiCara of Beyond, Inside Out, and 108 ).
Schism Records was a hardcore record label and fanzine operated out of New York City in the late 1980s by John Porcelly ( of Youth of Today, Judge, and Project X ) and Alex Brown ( of Side By Side and Project X ).
The label had several releases planned, such as a Beyond LP ( which eventually came out on Combined Effort Records ) and a compilation record, but with both Porcelly and Brown touring extensively with Youth Of Today ( Porcelly as a guitar-player, Brown as a roadie ), they didn't have time to keep doing the label and it eventually disbanded.
Porcelly currently runs the record label Fight Fire with Fire.
So when Porcelly as a joke put Project X – The Edge Of Quarrel LP on his Maximum RocknRoll playlist during a San Francisco visit, record collectors began searching high and low for this fabled LP, but alas, it never existed.
