At the end of the movie, Porky tries to say his classic line, but stutters so much, the lights are turned off around him as the studio closes for the night ; so an irritated Porky simply says, " Go home, folks.

As Porky tries to find the do-do, he is distracted by a duck singing " Mammy!

Porky tries to catch it, but it plays tricks on him.

Undeterred, Daffy tries again, but while he is spinning his quarterstaff, Porky stops it with a wooden dowel, resulting in Daffy himself spinning around and falling back into the lake.

Porky tries to shoot Daffy after donning a decoy on his head and sneaking underwater, but the gun shoots out water instead of bullets.

After a humorous scene where Daffy eats an electric eel and turns into a lightning bolt, Porky tries hunting from a rowboat but is taunted by the ducks when he stops for lunch ; in his hurry to fire at them he inadvertently sinks the boat, cueing Joe Penner to rise from underneath the water with his signature line " You wanna buy a duck?

Porky tries to use a duck call, but the other duck hunters mistake it for a real duck and shoot at Porky, who ducks for cover.

Porky tries to shoot them with his gun but, thinking the gun empty, throws the shotgun to the floor.

While Porky Pig tries to say his ending line, the studio starts to close.

Sylvester tries to shoot himself in the head, which alarms Porky, who tells Sylvester to cut it out.

Bugs Bunny made a cameo appearance in 1942 in the Avery / Clampett cartoon Crazy Cruise and also at the end of the Frank Tashlin 1943 cartoon Porky Pig's Feat which marked Bugs ' only appearance in a black-and-white Looney Tunes short.

Porky has a cameo at the end of the 1988 Disney / Amblin film Who Framed Roger Rabbit ( 1988 ), where, paired with Disney's Tinkerbell, has the duty of closing the movie with his famous line " Th-Th-Th-That's All Folks !".

At the end of the film, Porky triumphs when he disguises himself as a bearded paperboy, shouting " Extra!

In 1944, the studio went to an all-color schedule ; though for the first year of this, Bugs still appeared mainly in the Merrie Melodies series ( not appearing in a Looney Tunes cartoon until the end of August ), whereas Daffy Duck and Porky Pig ( who each appeared in a few Merrie Melodies prior to mid-1942 ) appeared mainly in Looney Tunes that year.

In the movie Looney Tunes: Back in Action, Porky makes a cameo appearance alongside Speedy Gonzales, where they both lament their politically incorrect status.

Porky's Hare Hunt is a 1938 animated short movie directed by Ben " Bugs " Hardaway and Cal Dalton, which starred Porky Pig as a hunter whose prey is an unnamed rabbit-a prototype of Bugs Bunny, Warner's biggest star and the second most popular character at that time behind Disney's Mickey Mouse.

Chuck Mitchell ( November 28, 1927 – June 22, 1992 ) was an American actor, known for his role as " Porky " in the raunchy 1982 cult classic movie Porky's.

From 1938 – 1946, every Looney Tunes short ( except for Hare Tonic and Baseball Bugs, with Bugs doing the drum scene instead ) ended with Porky Pig coming out of a drum and saying " th-th-th-that's all folks!

With the animators working in the Termite Terrace studio, they debuted the first truly major Looney Tunes star, Porky Pig, who was introduced in 1935 along with Beans the Cat in the Merrie Melodie cartoon I Haven't Got a Hat directed by Friz Freleng.

The Looney Tunes characters have had more success in the area of television, with appearances in several originally produced series, including Taz-Mania ( 1991, starring The Tasmanian Devil ), The Sylvester and Tweety Mysteries ( 1995, starring Sylvester the cat, Tweety Bird and Granny ), Baby Looney Tunes ( 2002, which had a similar premise to Muppet Babies ), and Duck Dodgers ( 2003, starring Daffy Duck, Porky Pig and Marvin the Martian ).

Daffy was # 14 on TV Guide's list of top 50 best cartoon characters and was featured on one of the issue's four covers as Duck Dodgers with Porky Pig and the Powerpuff Girls ( all of which are Time Warner-owned characters ).

It was destroyed by a car wash incident, and Daffy sought to replace it with a yacht by tricking Porky into giving him the expensive loan, but his less-than-stellar boating skills ended that ambition.

Even after he was supplanted by later characters, Porky continued to be popular with moviegoers and, more importantly, the Warners directors, who recast him in numerous everyman and sidekick roles.

Porky shared his stutter with the voice actor who originally played him, Joe Dougherty, who actually did have a stuttering problem.

This is parodied in A Connecticut Rabbit in King Arthur's Court, where Bugs Bunny struggles to pronounce the word " porcupine ", which Porky pronounces with no trouble.

Several such cartoons show Porky as a child with parents: father Phineas ( Porky the Rainmaker, Milk and Money, Porky's Poppa, and Porky and Teabiscuit ) and an unnamed mom ( Wholly Smoke and Porky's Hero Agency ).

" However, Porky was seen with pants in Porky's Badtime Story and its color remake, Tick Tock Tuckered.

Jones also paired Porky with Sylvester in a series of cartoons in the late 1940s and early 1950s, in which Porky plays the curmudgeonly owner of the cat and remains clueless that Sylvester is constantly saving him from homicidal mice, space aliens, and other threats.

Porky is shown doing some carpentry work, pounding nails, when he smacks his thumb with the hammer.

The film is celebrated for its surreal humor, such as when Porky is chasing the bird, it disappears and suddenly the Warner Brothers shield emerges from the horizon's vanishing point, as it typically did at every cartoon's beginning, and complete with the standard stretched " boing " of the steel guitar.

The Do-Do comes from behind the shield to bop Porky on the head and we see the shield immediately turn to return to the horizon with the bird riding it there ( with, consequently, the boing sound played in reverse ).

Among the crazy characters Porky encounters is a creature with three heads arguing amongst themselves in gibberish talk.

** In Dough for the Do-Do, after the sun is risen ( with the " Ranz des Vaches " part of the William Tell Overture playing in the background ), it cuts straight to the scene with the black duck passing by Porky and saying " Mammy!
