" EXPLANATION: The term " Cosmic Christ " here is a metaphor for that God-like consciousness that was and is present in all the Prophets and other enlightened people who have and are using this Principle to assist in the positive evolution of mankind, society, and / or their own personal lives.

The Minor Prophets or Twelve Prophets (, Trei Asar, " The Twelve "), occasionally Book of the Twelve, are the collection constituting the last book of the Jewish Tanakh's Nevi ' im and the last twelve books of the Old Testament ; the terms " minor prophets " and " twelve prophets " can also refer to the twelve writers of these prophetic works.

Words that describe portions of Scripture, such as “ law ” are capitalized only when they refer to a specific section of Scripture ( e. g., the “ Law and the Prophets ”) or are used as a part of a title ( e. g., “ this Book of the Law ”).

Secondly, Jeremiah was sometimes used to refer to the Books of the Prophets in toto as The Law is sometimes used to refer to Moses ' five books-Genesis through Deuteronomy.

More recently, Alan Hirsch and Michael Frost have coined the acronym APEPT to refer to Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers.

Many of these prophets are also found in the texts of Judaism ( The Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings ; collectively known as the Old Testament to Christians ) and Christianity.

Although it offers many incidents from the lives of many prophets, the Qur ' an focuses with special narrative and rhetorical emphasis on the careers of the first four of these five Major Prophets.

Other Jewish prophets are considered Minor Prophets, as they are considered to have come in the shadow of the dispensation of Moses to develop and consolidate the process he set in motion.

Most versions of the Christian Old Testament count Samuel, Kings, Chronicles and Ezra-Nehemiah as two books each, and the " Twelve Prophets " ( or the minor prophets ) as 12 books, giving rise to a count of 39 books for the Old Testament.
