The Electric Prunes are an American rock band who first achieved international attention as an experimental psychedelic group in the late 1960s.

On 4 October 2009, three original members of the band, Gavin Friday, Guggi and Dik Evans, performed two classic Virgin Prunes songs, Sweethomeunderwhiteclouds and Caucasian Walk at Carnegie Hall as part of " An Evening with Gavin Friday and Friends ", to celebrate Friday's 50th birthday.

In 1986, after the demise of Virgin Prunes, Gavin devoted himself to painting for a while, sharing a studio with Bono, Guggi and Charlie Whisker.

Friday contributes to two tracks including the lewd " Baltimore Whores " and " Bully in the Alley " with ex-Virgin Prunes bandmates Guggi and Dave-id.
