Two Irish language radio stations Raidió na Life and RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta both have studios in the city, and the online and DAB station Raidió Rí-Rá broadcasts from studios in the city.

Today RTÉ Radio 1 is available in Ireland on 88-90FM and 252 kHz LW.

The VHF service of RTÉ Radio 1 is also available on the BSkyB EPG on LCN 0160, and in former Telewest areas served by Virgin Media in the UK on LCN 917.

Initially RnaG broadcast for only a handful of hours a day and was only available in or near the three largest Gaeltacht districts, but following the putting in place of a fourth RTÉ national radio transmitter network ( used for RTÉ lyric fm ), the station expanded to 24 hours from 1 October 2001.

The opera is also available on CD featuring the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra.
