The Fort Worth Transportation Authority is the operator of the bus system in Fort Worth, Texas and Richland Hills, Texas popularly known as The T. The T also partners with DART of Dallas through the Trinity Railway Express ( TRE ), which offers commuter rail service from downtown Fort Worth to DFW Airport and downtown Dallas.

Rayville is a town in, the parish seat of, and the largest community in Richland Parish in northeastern Louisiana, United States.

Richland County was created by the 1872-73 territorial legislature and named for Morgan T. Rich of Wahpeton, who settled on the site of the future city in 1869.

An early proposed name for the county was Gate, but Richland was decided upon instead as a way to entice new settlers.

Richland, which was located in the far southeast corner of the township, was purchased by the U. S. Army Corps of Engineers in the late 1960s as a part of the land acquired for Clinton Lake.

In 1864, the Utah Territorial Legislature created Richland County ( shortened to Rich in 1868 ) for the Bear Lake Valley settlements with St. Charles as its county seat.

The names that were offered up for vote were Argos, Noble, and Richland.

It is named for Wyley P. Mangham ( died 1896 ), the publisher of the Richland Beacon-News, a weekly newspaper in Rayville, the seat of Richland Parish.

In the 1980s and 90s, small employers such as Richard Allen Medical moved to the edge of town, and Richland became a bedroom community for Kalamazoo.

While Richland Township is a suburb of Johnstown, Pennsylvania, it serves as the central retail area for Johnstown and its two-county SMSA region.

The town is situated near the center of Richland Valley, a narrow valley that stretches for some along the southern base of Clinch Mountain between Blaine and Bean Station.

The first section of streets in North Richland Hills was named for the local families.
