In 1903, after 34 years of competing, the club won its first premiership, defeating Richmond in the final.

Only four teams have won more than one championship: Springfield in 1996 and 1998, Johnstown in 1995 ( as the Steal ) and in 2000 ( as the Johnnies ), Richmond ( now Traverse City ) in 2001 and 2002, and Windy City in 2007 and 2008.

After losing their first game against Hawthorn by 50 points and a narrow defeat to Collingwood, Melbourne strung together three consecutive wins against Adelaide, Richmond and Brisbane, making it the first time they have won three games in a row since 2006.

Since joining the competition in 1908, Richmond has won ten premierships, the most recent victory being in 1980.

K. Dorgu ) at the Lagos Tennis Men ’ s Double Championships ( Division B 1938 ); anchor man for the ZAC team which won the 50 yards Freestyle Relay at the Lagos Swimming Championships ( 1939 ).

In his rookie season, he won his first pole at Richmond International Raceway, collected one top-five and two top-tens, and finished 19th in points.

He won at Dover in the spring, Pocono, where he swept both races ( He was the third to accomplish this particular sweep, after Bobby Allison in 1982 and Tim Richmond in 1986.

In September 2002, Dale Earnhardt Jr. ran ( and won in ) a special Gossamer paint scheme at Richmond International Raceway during the Chevy Rock and Roll 400 weekend in which he and his brother Kerry ran Looney Tunes cars ( Kerry ran a Yosemite Sam car, who was also on Mike Skinner's Winston Cup car the next night ) in the Busch Series race, and nine drivers ( Skinner, Terry Labonte, Jeff Gordon crashed his Bugs Bunny car in final practice for the race and, therefore, the Bugs car never saw race action, Joe Nemechek, Kevin Harvick, Jeff Green, Robby Gordon, Jimmie Johnson, and Greg Biffle place of Bobby Hamilton, who was injured in a Truck Series race two days before ran Looney Tunes paint schemes.

After a break from politics in 1923 and 1924, he won the seat of Richmond upon Thames in the general election of 29 October 1924, and held it until his resignation on 13 April 1932.

Charles Lennox, 4th Duke of Richmond, 4th Duke of Lennox KG, PC ( 9 December 1764 – 28 August 1819 ) was a British soldier and politician and Governor General of British North America.

Following the closure of the line to North Woolwich on 9 December 2006, these platforms effectively became a terminus, with trains heading west only, towards Richmond.
