Following Klaatu's breakup John Woloschuk recorded a now-rare children's album called Robotman, but soon afterwards retired from music altogether and is today a music industry accountant in Toronto.

In the present, the Doom Patrol is captured by the Brotherhood of Evil, save for a deactivated Robotman ( who was hung on a tree as a warning to intruders ).

In 1985, he created the comic strip Robotman, now known as Monty.

Meddick did not own the Robotman property, whereas he created and owns the Monty character.
