A major project to reroute Pennsylvania Route 18, which runs through the campus, was completed in November 2007.

Route 18 is a long state highway in the US state of New Jersey.

Route 18 was formerly designated as Route S28, a prefixed spur of State Highway Route 28 through Middlesex and Monmouth Counties.

At that point, Route 18 designated onto the alignment.

Route 18 begins at a partial-cloverleaf interchange with New Jersey Route 138 in Wall Township.

At the southern end of the interchange, the right-of-way for the southern extension is visible along with the former on-ramp from Route 138 to Route 18 northbound.

Route 18 interchanges with Route 138 westbound and Monmouth Boulevard, a local road in New Bedford.

Route 18 then crosses under Monmouth Boulevard and crosses under County Route 18 ( Belmar Boulevard ) in the community of Glendola.

The road's route between Baltimore and Cumberland continues to use the name National Pike or Baltimore National Pike today, with various portions now signed as U. S. Route 40, Alternate U. S. 40, or Maryland 144.

Japan National Route 4 runs to Tokyo in the south, through Fukushima, then north to Sendai and beyond ; Japan National Route 13 begins in Fukushima, runs through Yamagata Prefecture, then terminates in Akita Prefecture ; Japan National Route 114 starts in Fukushima and runs southeast to the town of Namie ; Japan National Route 115 runs through Fukushima, connecting Sōma in the east to Inwashiro in the west ; Japan National Route 399 starts southeast of Fukushima in the city of Iwaki, Fukushima, continues northwest through Fukushima, and terminates in the city of Nan ' yō, Yamagata ; and Japan National Route 459 begins in Niigata, Niigata, runs eastward through Kitakata, through Fukushima, southward to Nihonmatsu, then eastward to Namie.

Where Route 16 turns south, the Post Road continues east as Northeast Main Street, which leads to the Uxbridge town line.

From Moncton, the highway continues southeast for to a junction at Aulac on the New Brunswick – Nova Scotia border ( near Sackville ) where the Trans-Canada Highway splits into the main route continuing to the nearby border with Nova Scotia as Route 2, and a route designated as Route 16 which runs east to the Confederation Bridge at Cape Jourimain.

Route 22 continues towards Bound Brook and Union County.

Common usage, as well as signs until 1997, continues Route 128 east along the first 7 miles ( 11 km ) of Interstate 93 to the Braintree Split in Braintree, where I-93 turns north with Route 3 toward downtown Boston.

( US 1 continues east on I-93 — former Route 128 — to Braintree, and turns north there with I-93 into Boston.

After it splits from I-95 in Peabody, Route 128 continues east into Cape Ann.

The route continues through Glendola, and Brighton Avenue ( southbound Interchanges 7A and 7B ),. The freeway continues south of the Shark River Golf Course, through Neptune, paralleling Brighton Avenue, and interchanges with Route 33, and County Route 17 at Exit 8.

** Sierra Nevada Northern Route: U. S. Route 50 Alternate northwestward to Wadsworth, Nevada, then Interstate 80 & old U. S. Route 40 westward over Donner Pass and the Sierra Nevada to Sacramento.

* State Route 25 runs northwestward to Gilroy and southeastward to Pinnacles National Monument and Coalinga ( the latter via State Route 198 ).

The town is crossed by two state-maintained highways: U. S. Route 7, which is the town's main road ; and Vermont Route 346, a short route that begins at U. S. 7 at the village of Pownal and runs northwestward ( along the Hoosic River ) to the New York state line.

Here, Route 71 continues northwestward on Monmouth Road through large commercial complexes and the local country club.

From Baltimore to Westminster, the road was then redesignated Maryland Route 140 ( which continues northwestward from Westminster to meet US 15 in Emmitsburg ).

The highway went northwestward along the alignment of Route 5 to where it met New Jersey Route 63 and turned northward along Route 63 through the Ridgefields and Palisades Park to Fort Lee, where it would meet current-day U. S. Route 9W.

The route is concurrent along Union Turnpike with Route 2 for the first into Acton, before Route 2 heads northwestward, beginning its western highway portion.

Over the weeks, America's first Star Route Air Mail settled into a routine pattern despite the vagaries of weather and the lack of ground facilities and aids to navigation.

Brought into the Nationalist army immediately after the battle, the 19th Route Army's career under Chiang would be cut short after it was disbanded for demonstrating socialist tendencies.

The plight of U. S. Route 66 in particular, whose disappearance from the map in 1985 turned places like Glenrio, Texas and Amboy, California into overnight ghost towns, began to capture public attention with Route 66 associations springing up in every state as concern over preservation of decaying motels and other roadside infrastructure of the neon era came into view.

From there it roughly followed the Central Nevada Route to Carson City, Nevada before passing over the Sierras into Sacramento, California.

From the west, Colorado Route 145 is the most common way into Telluride, however there are two alternate passes to enter the town as well.

The three armies would maintain their historical designation as the First, Second and Fourth Red Armies until Communist military forces were nominally integrated into the National Revolutionary Army, forming the Eighth Route Army and the New Fourth Army, during the Second Sino-Japanese War from 1937 to 1945.

The roof of the old bakery has been transformed into a public park and fun for children, while the casemates accommodate themusée de la Route.

Divided into two main sections, the road consists of the Great River Road and the National Scenic Byway Route.

It continued northeast on Newport Avenue along Route 123, splitting to the north ( staying with Newport Avenue ) to cross into North Attleborough.

In Massachusetts, the Middle Post Road runs along sections of modern Route 16 to Mendon, then through Bellingham, and then via Route 109 from Medway to Dedham where it meets with the Lower Post Road ( old U. S. Route 1 ) heading into Boston.

At the center of Pomfret, Route 244 headed east turns into U. S. Route 44, and heads northwest towards Putnam.

It follows that road to Route 16, which follows the route of the Post Road for approximately one-half mile eastward to Maple Street, which follows the route into Mendon town center.

It is reached by Route 198, which extends inland from the northern shore of the peninsula, soon climbing into the mountains and entering vast forests, crossing several small rivers before reaching the town.

Near Kirkland Lake, a northern spur route of the Trans-Canada extends eastward from Highway 11, following Ontario's Highway 66 (), then Quebec's Route 117 () and Autoroute 15 () into Montreal.

Upon reaching Shelton, U. S. 101 turns into a two lane bypass that changes to a freeway at the junction of State Route 3, merging with State Route 8 and finally ending at Interstate 5.
