From 17 June 2010, Royal Brunei Airlines introduced ex-Singapore Airlines Boeing 777-200ER aircraft to replace the Boeing 767 fleet being returned to their lessors ; the inaugural Boeing 777 service was the Bandar Seri Begawan – London / Heathrow service via Dubai, on 17 June.

The airport was a base for Royal Canadian Air Force training, the crews and their families housed in a new townsite on the island, named Burkeville after Boeing president Stanley Burke.

The Royal Australian Air Force, Republic of Korea Air Force and the Turkish Air Force are deploying Boeing 737 AEW & C aircraft.

* January 21, 1995: Royal Air Maroc Flight 205, a Boeing 747-400 preparing to depart for New York City and Casablanca, was being de-iced by Canadian Airlines groundcrew, while its engines were running.

Australian participation in Afghanistan included a Special Forces Task group and two Royal Australian Air Force ( RAAF ) Boeing 707 air-to-air refuelling aircraft from No. 33 Squadron.

On August 16, 1972, during a second attempt, four F-5 military jets from the Royal Moroccan Air Force fired upon the King's Boeing 727 while he was traveling back to Rabat from France, many bullets hit the fuselage but they failed to bring the plane down.

To consolidate its North American operations, Royal Air Maroc purchased a single Boeing 747-400.
