Rushden and lies
The southern limits of the town border on the county of Bedfordshire, and to its north lies the River Nene ( locally pronounced Nen ) which flows into The Wash. Rushden lies in a small valley, with a stream or brook known as Sidney Brook flowing through the centre of the town.

After a seven year gap, in 2008 – 09 the teams again found themselves in the same division, after Rushden suffered two quickfire relegations and Kettering gained promotion from the Conference North.
