Epicurus the Sage is a two-part comic book by William Messner-Loebs and Sam Kieth portraying Epicurus as " the only sane philosopher " by anachronistically bringing him together with many other well-known Greek philosophers.

Berger reviewed the sketches ( along with some drawn by Gaiman ) and suggested Sam Kieth as the series ' artist.

These included Sam Kieth ( The Maxx ), Dale Keown ( Pitt ), Jae Lee ( Hellshock ), and the team of Kurt Busiek, Brent Anderson, and Alex Ross ( Astro City ).

Subsequently the imprint featured works by Sam Kieth, including The Maxx, Zero Girl and Four Women, and three of Warren Ellis ' pop-comics mini-series, Mek, Red and Reload.

The Maxx is an American comic book series created by Sam Kieth and published originally monthly by Image Comics and now collected in trade paperback collections from DC Comic's Wildstorm imprint.

On December 17, 2009, The Maxx became available on DVD exclusively through Amazon. com's CreateSpace " Manufacture-on-Demand " program which contains every episode of the television show and also includes audio commentary on each episode plus interviews with Creator Sam Kieth & Director Gregg Vanzo.

In 2009 Anthrax guitarist Scott Ian and Sam Kieth collaborated to create " Lobo: Highway to Hell ", released in November of the same year.
