After brief trial runs with Larry Wallis ( February-October 1972 ) and Bernie Marsden ( he toured with UFO in Europe and recorded a demo, " Give Her The Gun ") the band recruited Michael Schenker from Scorpions in June 1973.

Along with Michael Schenker's increasing alcohol abuse, tensions had begun to grow between Mogg and Schenker in the late 1970s.

UFO toured again in 1998 with Schenker, Mogg, Way, Raymond and a new drummer.

In 2008 the Railion brand was replaced with the rebranding of the whole DB logistics organisation into a common recognisable brand ; named DB Schenker.

In 2011, DB Schenker Rail signed an agreement with Lietuvos Geležinkeliai to increase cross-border services with the Baltic states.

Schenker himself, in an interview with KNAC radio, claims he was the one to say " no " to Ozzy: " If I would have joined Ozzy Osbourne, I would have screwed up my life.

In 1995, Schenker briefly rejoined UFO for their reunion album Walk on Water and toured with them briefly.

He then resurrected the Michael Schenker Group with all new members and recorded three more albums, Written in the Sand, The Unforgiven, and Be Aware of Scorpions before rejoining UFO for two further releases, Covenant and Sharks.

His marriage turned for the worse and he disappeared, leaving the couple's son and daughter with the mother, and his manager allegedly ran off with his earnings ; Schenker ended up having to sell three of his prized Flying V guitars.

Heinrich Schenker ( June 19, 1868, Wisniowczyki Ukraine – January 14, 1935, Vienna ) was a composer, pianist, music critic, music teacher, and music theorist, best known for his approach to musical analysis, now usually called Schenkerian analysis.

Schenker himself was certain that a tonal masterpiece contains an inner truth – content, although few are sufficiently gifted to appreciate it.

However, Schenker and Schenkerians after him are generally at odds with the practice of roman numeral analysis, mainly because they believe that it fails to recognise the sensitivity of the meaning of a chord to its musical context ( particularly its rhythmic and voice – leading context ) and that it tends to project an insufficiently sophisticated theory of modulation and tonicization.
