Shashi Kapoor (), born Balbir Raj Prithviraj Kapoor on 18 March 1938 in Calcutta ( now Kolkata ), is an award-winning Indian film actor and film producer.

She is the granddaughter of actor and filmmaker Raj Kapoor, great-granddaughter of actor Prithviraj Kapoor, grand-niece of actors Shashi Kapoor and Shammi Kapoor, sister of actress Kareena Kapoor, niece of actors Rishi Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor, and first-cousin of actor Ranbir Kapoor.

Deewaar, or Deewar ( Hindi: द ी व ा र, Urdu: دیوار, ), is a 1975 Indian drama directed by Yash Chopra, written by Salim-Javed, and starring Amitabh Bachchan and Shashi Kapoor.

He kills his mother, the traitorous Shashi, takes the seal on her forehead and merges it with his sword Shura-tō, to awaken the true Ashura ; the god of flame, blood and war, whose aim is to destroy heaven, earth, and hell.
