Harry Julius Shearer ( born December 23, 1943 ) is an American actor, humorist, writer, voice artist, musician, author, radio host and filmmaker.

The Leader of the Opposition is David Shearer, who replaced Phil Goff as leader of the Labour Party.

His second marriage, in 1995, was to artist and sculptor Rhonda Roland Shearer, who is the mother of two children, Jade and London Allen, stepchildren of Gould.
