Sir Quackly McDuck is mentioned in the story " The Old Castle's Secret " by Carl Barks and later appeared in Don Rosa's Duck Family Tree.

Sir Quackly was born in Scotland in the year 1010.

Sir Quackly became a legend among the McDucks, who claimed that his ghost protected the treasure and the castle.
