A chance meeting with Sire Records executive Pat Horgan at the Bottom Line in New York City led to Tork recording a six-song demo, his first recording in many years.

Archie Comics and Sire Records ( The Veronicas ' record company ) finally resolved their problems through a co-promotion deal.

In 2005, Sire Records invested in Brisbane band The Veronicas who went straight to number 2 with their debut single " 4 Ever " and album " The Secret Life Of The Veronicas ".
