Sites of interest in the park include Speakers ' Corner ( located in the northeast corner near Marble Arch ), close to the former site of the Tyburn gallows, and Rotten Row, which is the northern boundary of the site of the Crystal Palace.

Several Sites of Special Scientific Interest lie close to Yarmouth, including Yar Estuary SSSI & Bouldnor And Hamstead Cliffs SSSI.

There are two Sites of Important Nature Conservation close to Morton and another on the downs.

Sites such as Reddit, Digg, the Drudge Report, Fark, Something Awful, and the webcomic Penny Arcade have their own corresponding " effects ", known as " the Digg effect ", being " drudged ", " farking ", " goonrushing " and " wanging "; respectively.

Some of these towns, such as the Humberstone and Santa Laura Saltpeter Works in the Atacama Desert, have been declared UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Near the river are the Deer Creek / Bryson Paddock Sites where archaeologists have excavated the ruins of two prominent 18th century Wichita Indian villages.

Various writers have asserted that this chapter supports a historical basis for King Arthur and have tried to identify the twelve battles with historical feuds or locales ( see Sites and places associated with Arthurian legend ).

Sites in Australia have petroglyphs that are estimated to be as much as 27, 000 years old, and in other places could be as old as 40, 000 years.

Sites mooted include a ground built as part of a new housing development to the west of Luton and a site by the proposed Junction 11A of the M1, which is the preferred site of the local authorities.

There are currently two interim sites, the Northeast and Northwest Interim Sites, located to relieve the pressure temporarily on the library system created by rapid residential development in the northeast and northwest of Brampton.
