Jeremy Waldron ( born 13 October 1953, New Zealand ) is professor of law and philosophy at the New York University School of Law and Chichele Professor of Social and Political Theory at All Souls College, Oxford University.

He founded the short lived Campaign for Social Democracy ( CFSD ) thereafter, and wrote a book about events surrounding the by-election called The Future of the Left – Lincoln and After ( 1972 ).
