Soulfly ventured to Undercity Recording Studios in March 2007 to record a cover of the Marilyn Manson single " The Beautiful People " with Logan Mader producing.

After Limp Bizkit finished a tour with the band Deftones, Durst and DJ Lethal were asked by Max Cavalera, formerly of the band Sepultura, to appear on " Bleed ", a song from the self-titled debut of his new band Soulfly.

" During an interview on drummers, King said that Soulfly drummer Joe Nunez did not join Slayer because " his mother wouldn't let him ," that Adrian Erlandsson " hits his drums like a fag ," and that Raymond Herrera " has no hands ".

Soulfly played on the 1998 Ozzfest mainstage alongside Ozzy Osbourne, Megadeth, and Tool, and played small club tours around the world with bands such as System of a Down and Snot.

In late 2001, Joe Nunez left Soulfly to join Stripping the Pistol, saying that it was " time for to move on ".

After the release of 3 on June 25, 2002, Soulfly toured throughout Europe and North America with bands such as Slayer, In Flames, God Forbid, and Will Haven.

Many critics have described Dark Ages as a return to Cavalera's thrash metal roots of the early Sepultura days ; however, the world metal influence found on the first four Soulfly albums is still present.

Soulfly supported Dark Ages on a world tour with various bands such as Deftones, Korn, Throwdown, and Skindred that has stretched through North America, South America, Europe, Russia, and Australia.

In the time between legs of Soulfly's world tour for Dark Ages and afterwards, members of Soulfly stayed extremely busy by focusing on projects and activities outside of the band.

In August 2007, Soulfly did a tour that consisted of a mixture of festival and club shows through Europe before playing the 11th Annual D-Low Memorial Show in Tempe, AZ on August 31, 2007.

One week after performing the show, Soulfly went to Bobby Burns and Tim Lau's newly renovated Porch Studio in Orlando, FL to begin work on their sixth studio album, which Cavalera had begun writing during the summer.

Soulfly released their sixth album entitled Conquer on July 29, 2008.

Strait Up, released on November 7, 2000, featured appearances by the lead vocalists of System of a Down, Korn, Hed PE, Soulfly, Incubus, Sevendust, Limp Bizkit, Coal Chamber, Slipknot and Sugar Ray, among others.

Drummer Dave Kinkade announced on his official Facebook page on October 25, 2011 that he had " mutually parted ways with Borknagar " and that he'll " be focusing 100 % on Soulfly now ".

After his quick departure from Life of Agony, Crane collaborated with some Soulfly members on a new projects called Medication ( 1999 – 2003 ) and Godsmack members on Another Animal ( 2006 – 2009 ).

Another signature guitar produced by ESP, based on the AX model, is white with a Soulfly logo inlays.

He also used a series of Gibson SG guitars during his later years in Sepultura and on the first two Soulfly albums and the tours that supported them.

Raunchy supported American heavy metal band Soulfly on all German tour dates.

Throwdown toured with As I Lay Dying, In Flames and Soulfly at various points, co-headlined with Black Dahlia Murder and went to South America, Australia and on a US headliner with Zao, Evergreen Terrace and Maylene and the Sons of Disaster as support.

Peters recorded a guest appearance on the next Soulfly album as well.

Dave Peters appeared live with Cavalera Conspiracy at Download and appears on the new Soulfly album and in the band's new video.

In February 2005, Soulfly released their first DVD, entitled The Song Remains Insane.

Cavalera Conspiracy also made their debut live performance at the show by opening for Soulfly.

From May 13-December 16, 2010, Soulfly conducted a world tour in support of their new album Omen.

In 2010 he appeared on and co-wrote ( with Max Cavalera ) the Soulfly track " Rise of the Fallen " on their record Omen, and has on occasion performed the song live with them.

3 was the first Soulfly album which was produced by Max Cavalera.

On every Soulfly album, we've changed the line up and it will probably continue that way.

The band's growing popularity lead to an invitation from Max Cavalera to record together the song " Moses " on the Soulfly album Prophecy and play on the 2004 Prophecy Europe Tour.

Kojić also appeared on the Soulfly album Dark Ages, on the song " Innerspirit ".

Many critics have described Dark Ages as a return to Cavalera's thrash and death metal roots of the early Sepultura days, its sound also has been compared to his post-thrash album Chaos A. D .- era, while still maintaining the world music influence present on the first four Soulfly albums.
