Duli Yang Maha Mulia Sultan Sir Ahmad Tajuddin Akhazul Khairi Waddien ibni Almarhum Sir Sultan Mohammad Jamalul Alam II ( commonly referred to as Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin ), KBE, CMG ( June 4, 1913 June 4, 1950 ) was the 27th sultan of Brunei from September 11, 1924 until his death.
At the age of 20, Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin married Tengku Raihani ibni Sultan Alauddin Mahmud Shah, daughter of then Sultan of Selangor, Sultan Alauddin Mahmud Shah.
From this marriage, Sultan Ahmad Tajuddin had one son and one daughter, YTM Pengiran Muda Ibrahim Ali Omar Shah and Pengiran Anak Puteri Noorehsani, who was born on 15 October 1932 and 13 October 1935.

Within months, on November 3, 1975, four more of its top leaders, Syed Nazrul Islam, Tajuddin Ahmed, Captain Muhammad Mansur Ali and A. H. M. Qamaruzzaman were killed inside the Dhaka Central Jail on the orders of the majors.
He is also known to be responsible for the heinous killing of the four national leaders, who led the country during the liberation war in absence of Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, former Vice President Syed Nazrul Islam, former Prime Minister of Bangladesh Tajuddin Ahmed and Captain Muhammad Mansur Ali, and former interior minister A H M Qamaruzzaman on 3 November 1975 inside the Dhaka Central Jail, commemorated as Jail Killing Day.
After the assassination of President Sheikh Mujibur Rahman in August 1975, Tajuddin was arrested by the military government and executed by a group of army officers in Dhaka Central Jail on 4 November 1975.
