Cherry Hill Farmhouse and Barn, an 1845 Greek-Revival farmhouse and 1856 barn, owned and managed by the City of Falls Church, are open to the public select Saturdays in summer.

The Thomas Bennett Curtis House, William Swortz House, Crescent Methodist Episcopal Church, John Noyes House, Starkey United Methodist Church, Daniel Supplee Cobblestone Farmhouse, and Dr. Henry Spence Cobblestone Farmhouse and Barn Complex are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The George Douglass House, Griesemer-Brown Mill Complex, Old St. Gabriel's Episcopal Church, Old Swede's House, Rhoads-Lorah House and Barn, Weidner Mill, and White Horse Tavern are listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

The Church is known locally as the " Holy Barn " and the building has been on the site since at least the 1500s.

It has shops, including a newsagent, vet, butcher, chemist, music shop, dog grooming parlour and a fish & chip shop, a large primary school, ( Burford School ), a private members club ( The Barn Club, for valley residents ), a village hall and two small churches ( Anglican and Methodist ) which form a Local Ecumenical Partnership " The Valley Church ", where the local Boy Scout and Girl Guide groups and similar voluntary groups meet.

This Rock City Barn is located just off of U. S. 411, in northeast Sevier County, ten miles from Sevierville

The park of Barn Elms, formerly the manor house of Barnes, which was for long the parish's chief property, is now an open space and playing field.

Also located on Highway 82 is B & G Heating and Cooling, a small business run by Bob Miley and other members of the Miley family which specializes in repairing and installing air conditioning units, Also, ( REPASCO ) a small business owned and operated by Linda Wiley specializing in restaurant equipment sales, parts, and repair service, The Post Office, Glass Unlimited, Volunteer Fire Department, City Hall, the salon ( Freida's Beauty Barn ), and the Bank of Alapaha are all located on Main Street.

Hoosier Grove is also home to many soccer fields, the Streamwood Heritage Museum, " The Barn " banquet center, volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, and a large playground.

Hancock Shaker Village, now operated as a museum, is famous for its " Round Stone Barn ", built in 1826.
