The London Borough of Brent has three fire stations within the borough: Park Royal, Wembley and Willesden.

Fire District 2 is the West Collingswood Extension section, which contracts with the Borough of Collingswood for fire protection from the Collingswood Fire Department ( Station 16-1 ).

The Oaklyn Fire Department ( Station 18-3 ) is responsible for fire protection in the Borough of Oaklyn and until December 2007 was responsible for Haddon Township Fire District 3, which paid the Borough of Oaklyn for fire protection through tax money it collected from its residents.

When Oaklyn seceded from the Township in 1905 there was an agreement made between Oaklyn Borough and Haddon Township that Oaklyn would still protect the District 3 section since they were much closer and the fire apparatus was horse drawn at the time.

Today, the building houses the Oaklyn Police Department and Borough Hall and stands next to the current fire station.

The Lebanon Volunteer Fire Company provides fire suppression to the Borough as per ordinance.

In 1905, the Lincoln section of Middlesex Borough organized a volunteer fire company and that set the organization of four other fire companies in the Borough.

Bradford Woods Borough serves its residents with a local fire company, No. 115.

Its historic landmarks include the Edgewood Borough Building where the police and fire service are also housed ; the First Presbyterian Church of Edgewood ; the Edgewood Community House which is home to both CC Mellor Memorial Library and the Edgewood Club ; Memorial Park ; Koenig Community Field and Field House ; Edgewood Primary School ( which was originally a K-12 in Edgewood's own district but was incorporated into the Woodland Hills School District merger in 1982, and most recently serves as a K-6 school building ); and an historic train station.

Immediately after the fire, a group of concerned business owners, residents and Borough Officials formed a Downtown Restoration Task Force.
