Alt-rock band The Cooper Temple Clause formed a kabbadi team in 2001 and were, at one stage, ranked seventh in the British domestic standings.

Her pre-code films were also considered quite risqué for their time, with The Story of Temple Drake depicting a rape scene and Design for Living featuring a menage-a-trois plot with Fredric March and Gary Cooper.

William Francis Cowper-Temple, 1st Baron Mount Temple PC ( 13 December 1811 – 16 October 1888 ), known as William Cowper ( pronounced " Cooper ") before 1869 and as William Cowper-Temple between 1869 and 1880, was a British Liberal Party politician and statesman.

The British rock band Cooper Temple Clause were named after the clause.
