* ( USA-SpaceX ) Dragon – capsule

Proposed manned Commercial Crew Development Vehicle alternatives to Ares I for servicing the Space Station are the Boeing / Bigelow Aerospace unofficially-named " Orion-Lite " capsule launched on a future-man-rated Delta IV Heavy, the manned version of the SpaceX Dragon spacecraft, and Sierra Nevada Dreamchaser.

The Falcon 9 launch vehicle along with the manned version of the Dragon capsule, developed by SpaceX, have been contemplated as a possible commercial alternative.

Plans and a full-scale prototype for the SpaceX Dragon, a manned capsule carrying up to 7 passengers, were announced on March 6, 2006.

On 22 May 2012, SpaceX's Falcon 9 rocket carried the unmanned Dragon capsule into space, marking the first time a private company has sent a spacecraft to the space station.

SpaceX became the first private company to successfully launch and return a spacecraft from orbit on 8 December 2010, after its Dragon capsule returned from a two-orbit flight.

Several days later, the Dragon capsule successfully berthed with the International Space Station, marking the first time that a private spacecraft had accomplished this feat.

In addition to SpaceX's privately funded plans for an eventual Mars mission, NASA Ames Research Center is developing a concept for a low-cost Mars mission that would utilize Falcon Heavy as the launch vehicle and trans-Martian injection vehicle, and the Dragon capsule to enter the Martian atmosphere.

The Red Dragon is a proposed concept for a low-cost Mars lander mission that would utilize a SpaceX Falcon Heavy launch vehicle, and a modified Dragon capsule to enter the Martian atmosphere.

The SpaceX-designed Dragon spacecraft uses a liquid fueled launch abort system integrated to the capsule to minimize spacecraft costs.

Critics have referred to Enter the Dragon as " a low-rent James Bond thriller ", a " remake of Doctor No " with elements of Fu Manchu.

On the surface, the crew would have at their disposal 2 Dragon spacecraft with inflatable modules as habitats, 2 ERVs, 2 Mars ascent vehicles and 8 tonnes of cargo.

There was very little information available about the original project ( even ex-TSR employees having forgotten what they knew about the module over the years ), so the module was published based entirely on the working title and information drawn from Dragon magazine articles.

The game had a single adventure module published in 2002, Prophecies of the Dragon.

The book The Sea Devils ( 1997 ), along with the accompanying article in Dragon # 239, " Sneaky Sea Devils ", and the Monstrous Arcana module series that accompanies it, greatly develops the sahuagin further.

A Dragon magazine review praised the module, but felt that the D & D elements detracted from the Gothic horror atmosphere.

One module involves Department 7's benefactor being a Gold Dragon.

Originally written as a novel series by Wang Du Lu starting in the late 1930s, the film is adapted from the storyline of the fourth book in the series, Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon.

Longjing tea, also known as Dragon Well tea, is a variety of roasted green tea from Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province, China, where it is produced mostly by hand and has been renowned for its high quality, earning the China Famous Tea title.

Actually the film draws its central character, Allan Gray, from Le Fanu's Dr. Hesselius ; and the scene in which Gray is buried alive is drawn from " The Room in the Dragon Volant ".

In ‘ Stray Dog Strut ’ the final fight between Spike and Hakim is influenced by Bruce Lee ’ s Game of Death while in ‘ Waltz for Venus ’, Spike ’ s kung fu lesson is eerily similar to a scene from Lee ’ s Enter the Dragon.

Although the majority of WADs contain one or several custom levels mostly in the style of the original game, others implement new monsters and other resources, and heavily alter the gameplay ; several popular movies, television series, other video games and other brands from popular culture have been turned into Doom WADs by fans ( without authorization ), including Aliens, Star Wars, The X-Files, The Simpsons, South Park, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball Z, Red Faction, The Thing, Pokémon and Batman.

Although neither machine has a built-in disk operating system ( cassette tapes being the default data-storage mechanism in the home computer market at the time ), DragonDOS was supplied as part of the disk controller interface from Dragon Data Ltd.

Although this was far from the principal driver for the Dragon's demise, it was nevertheless a factor, and had Dragon adopted the established Delta system, the machine may well have had a greater following and a longer life.

In 1954, the 23 man crew of the Japanese fishing vessel Lucky Dragon was exposed to radioactive fallout from a hydrogen bomb test at Bikini Atoll, in 1969, an ecologically catastrophic oil spill from an offshore well in California's Santa Barbara Channel, Barry Commoner's protest against nuclear testing, Rachel Carson's book Silent Spring, Paul R. Ehrlich's The Population Bomb all added anxiety about the environment.

Several clips from the film are comically used during the theater scene in The Last Dragon.

Any character that finished any game in the series ( except Dragon Fire, the last in the series ) could be exported to a more recent game ( Shadows of Darkness has a glitch which allows one to import characters from the same game ), keeping the stats and parts of the inventory.
