The “ Old Fashion Days ” Festival is a festival held in North Salem over Labor Day weekend for the last 36 years.

The Wichita River Festival has been held in the Downtown and Old Town areas of the city since 1972.

The West Branch Film Festival held its first annual screening in August 2009, with an appearance by Trevor Gagnon from the CBS sitcom The New Adventures of Old Christine.

Old Spice was quick to capitalize on this media attention and the company sponsored the town's 1st annual " Armpit Festival ".

The Old Time Farming Festival, the Centerburg USA 4th of July Festival, and the nearby Hartford Fair are major events for people in the area.

But a 1985 London revival at the Old Vic with Deborah Kerr was successful, as was a 2007 production at the Williamstown Theatre Festival in Massachusetts.

Each year the city hosts the Richmond Good Old Days Festival.
