If n is a higher power of a prime, then results of Graham Higman and Charles Sims give asymptotically correct estimates for the number of isomorphism types of groups of order n, and the number grows very rapidly as the power increases.

His father, Louis ( 1916 – 1995 ), was a college professor, upright bass player, and dance bandleader who performed under the name " Lee Sims ".

Irene Joan Marion Sims ( 9 May 1930 – 27 June 2001 ), best known as Joan Sims, was an English actress, best remembered for her roles in the Carry On films, and latterly for playing both Madge Hardcastle in As Time Goes By, and Mrs Wembley the cook with a liking for sherry in the TV comedy series On the Up.
