Turkey Creek, following a roughly parallel path to the Interstate, flows through the city.

U. S. 1 generally parallels Interstate 95, though it is significantly farther west ( inland ) between Jacksonville, Florida, and Petersburg, Virginia.

Interstate 57 ( I-57 ) is an Interstate Highway in Missouri and Illinois that parallels the old Illinois Central rail line for much of its route.

For much of its length, the newer Interstate 81, constructed in the 1960s, parallels the old Valley Pike.

The main north-south road transportation is Interstate 81, which parallels the old Valley Turnpike ( U. S. Route 11 ) through its course in the valley.

New York State Route 7 parallels the Interstate across the north part of Schoharie.

The NEC, which closely parallels Interstate 95 for most of its length, is the busiest passenger rail line in the United States by ridership and service frequency.

It lies completely within the state of Texas, and both termini are at Interstate 37, the road that it mainly parallels to the east.

From Nashville to Indianapolis, the route parallels Interstate 65.

Route 173 parallels Interstate 78 and U. S. Route 22 for its entire length through rural areas of Warren and Hunterdon Counties, passing through the towns of Bloomsbury and Clinton along the way.

From this interchange, Route 173 heads east on a two-lane, undivided road that parallels Interstate 78 / U. S. Route 22 to the south, passing through farmland and some suburban residential developments.
