María Eva Duarte de Perón (; 7 May 1919 – 26 July 1952 ) was an Argentine political leader, the second wife of President Juan Perón ( 1895 – 1974 ) and served as the First Lady of Argentina from 1946 until her death in 1952.
On July 31, 2002, the Pope canonized Juan Diego before a crowd of 12 million, and later that year included in the General Calendar of the Roman Rite, as optional memorials, the liturgical celebrations of Saint Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin ( December 9th ) and Our Lady of Guadalupe ( December 12th ).
Juan Diego Cuauhtlatoatzin or Juan Diego ( July 12, 1474 – May 30, 1548 ) was, according to Mexican Catholic tradition, an indigenous Mexican who reported a Marian apparition, Our Lady of Guadalupe, in 1531.
