It is located to the rear of The Lanes Shopping Centre which, along with the rest of the street, hosts the main shopping area for Wylde Green.

There is one tower block located within Wylde Green, Heron Court, which is behind The Lanes Shopping Centre, which also has flats above retail floors.

The Strathbungo Society helps promote the preservation of the Strathbungo Conservation Area and organises events for local people like ' Bungo at the Bells ' at the New Year and the ' Bungo in the Back Lanes ' event in June each year which was originally set up to help get people into the lanes in Strathbungo and to highlight the need for the refurbishment of them.

Park Lanes were available with the Marauder package ( as were all full-size ' 64 Mercurys ) which featured the " fastback " roof design in place of the Breezeway, and which were also used on the popular full-size Ford line.
