The World Naked Bike Ride is an international clothing-optional bike ride in which participants plan, meet and ride together en masse on human-powered transport ( the vast majority on bicycles, and fewer on skateboards, roller blades, roller skates ) to " protest oil dependency and celebrate the power and individuality of our bodies ".

Since 2004, World Naked Bike Ride Seattle ( and later Body Pride Ride ) clothing-optional bike rides often have the fountain as a major stop during their events.

Other popular makeover shows include What Not to Wear, How to Look Good Naked, Extreme Makeover, MADE, Ambush Makeover and Pimp My Ride.

The park is the traditional end point of the Solstice Cyclists and the start point for Seattle's World Naked Bike Ride.

World Naked Bike Ride ( WNBR ) Seattle had its bodypainting party here on 17 Aug 2008. and returned on Aug 16, 2009 with Hemp Ride 2009 ( affiliated with WNBR Seattle ).
