As part of the resulting agreement, made in May 2010, it was agreed that the RATP Group would take over ownership of some of Transdev's operations in lieu of cash payment for its holdings in Transdev.

On August 1, 2011, the RATP Group purchased Stagecoach Metrolink Ltd, the operators of the Metrolink light rail system in the English city of Manchester.

Stagecoach sold the Metrolink business to RATP Group on 1 August 2011.

The Metrolink tram network is owned by Transport for Greater Manchester but the service is operated under contract from TfGM by RATP Group.

As part of this merger, the RATP Group, a minority shareholder in Transdev, took direct ownership of a number of former Transdev operations in lieu of a cash payment.

In August 2011, Stagecoach sold its Manchester Metrolink to French state-owned transport group RATP.

One of the few authentic installations on a metro station outside Paris, it was given in 1967 by the RATP ( Régie autonome des transports parisiens ) to commemorate the collaboration of French and Canadian engineers in building the metro.

The French company SOFRETU, affiliated with the state-owned Paris transportation authority RATP, won the tender and in the same year began to conduct preliminary studies on the project.

In 2003, Epsom Coaches decided to rebrand its bus division as Quality Line and repainted its vehicles from their traditional cream and brown into allover red-in order to comply with Transport for London regulations regarding the colour of buses. Châtelet – Les Halles is also the station where the second part of the RATP-managed IMAGE project was installed, which consisted of 10 flat screens containing information on local traffic from all carriers ( RATP, SNCF, etc .).

Operations outside Paris, along with some subsidiary operations within Paris, are the responsibility of the RATP subsidiary RATP Dev.

It's not until 1966 that the RATP retried the experience of double-decker bus on two lines in Paris.

The Nord-Sud company went bankrupt in 1930 and was taken over by the other company operating Paris metro: the CMP ( which later became the RATP ).
