Reprise Records initially released two radio only promos, the live version of " Landslide " with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra and " Rock and Roll ".

The band was also featured, along with a 70-piece orchestra, on the live album “ An Evening of Magic ,” which was recorded at the Hollywood Bowl on July 16, 1978, at the height of Mangione ’ s success from “ Feels So Good .” Performances of material new and old included versions of “ Main Squeeze ,” “ Hill Where the Lord Hides ” and “ Chase the Clouds Away .” Mangione opened and closed the show with “ Feels So Good ” and its “ Reprise ” version.

Note that original North American Reprise Records pressings of Aqualung contained a slightly edited version of the title song, with its first three seconds ( i. e., the first repetition of the song's signature riff ) removed.

The song " Brushstroke: Reprise " can be divided in two parts, the first part is a 40 second remastered version of the song " Same ol ' Road ".

" Tonite Reprise " is a solo acoustic version of " Tonight, Tonight " with slight alterations to the lyrics.

) The second version was recorded for the Reprise Records album A Man and His Music on October 11, 1965.

In parallel with the 12-song European version, Ray and Reprise Records ( the band's U. S. label ) initially intended to release an 11-song album for the American market called Four More Respected Gentlemen.

Caballero signed a record contract with Reprise / Warner Bros. Records, which planned on marketing her as the Latin version of Madonna ( who recorded for sister label Sire Records ).

Reprise can also refer to a version of a song which is similar to, yet different from, the song on which it is based.

Among the standout tracks on Sinatra and Strings are " All or Nothing at All ", an unusual verse-only version of " Stardust " ( in juxtaposition to the many chorus-only versions of the song ), a ballad rendition of " Night and Day " which provided a contrast to Sinatra's more familiar big band version, and a rendition of " Come Rain or Come Shine " which frequently is included " Best of " compilations from Sinatra's Reprise years.

As a result, Sleeps With Angels ended up more than reminiscent of Tonight's the Night ; the album is practically a ( more sober ) 1990s update of the former record, down to the use of the old-school black Reprise label found on original vinyl pressings of Tonight's the Night and the CD version of Sleeps With Angels.

This version only included a selected number of the songs, including " Belle ", " Belle ( Reprise )", " Home ", " Home ( Tag )", " Gaston ", " Gaston ( Reprise )", " Be Our Guest ", " Something There ", " Human Again ", " Beauty and the Beast ", " The Mob Song ", " Home ( Reprise )", and " Beauty and the Beast ( Reprise )".

On January 13, 2011, Reprise announced Stevie's upcoming album In Your Dreams would be released on May 3, and the lead single, " Secret Love ", would be released on February 8.

Following the termination of the Capitol contract in 1969, the band's new contract with Reprise Records ( brokered by Van Dyke Parks, then employed as a multimedia executive at the company ) stipulated Brian Wilson's proactive involvement with the band in all albums — a factor that would become hugely problematic for the band in the years to come.

Reprise would later add teen-oriented pop acts like Dino, Desi & Billy and Frank's own daughter Nancy Sinatra, before moving almost exclusively to pop-oriented music in the late 1960s.

With the Reprise acquisition, Warner gained the services of Mo Ostin who would be most responsible for the success of Warner / Reprise.

After listening to it, and after the failure of the lead single, Mo Ostin suggested that they come up with a few stronger tracks or their days at Reprise Records would be short-lived.

The Star Wars soundtracks would pass through several hands before ultimately ending up with Sony Classical in the 90s, and the Bee Gees catalog reverted back to the Gibb family, who set up a new distribution arrangement with Warner Music's Rhino Records division, who has reissued their albums and the Saturday Night Fever soundtrack on the Reprise label.

The album was subsequently rejected by Reprise Records for not being commercially viable, although some of its tracks would reappear on later releases.

Most importantly for the future of the company, the merger brought Reprise manager Mo Ostin into the Warner fold and " his ultimate value to Warner Bros. would dwarf Sinatra's ".

By far the most successful of the Reprise acts who moved to Warner Bros. was Fleetwood Mac, whose massive success firmly established Warner Bros. in the front rank of major labels — although few would have predicted it from the band's tumultuous history.

Despite this, their new " big band " project ( in many ways, the root of Chicago's original sound ) would be carried by Giant Records, a subsidiary of Warner Music, who also distributes Reprise.

This set of standard ballads would remain one of the most critically acclaimed works of Sinatra's entire Reprise period.

In the US, however, Reprise Records felt that a greatest-hits collection would have been premature in 1968, as up to then Hendrix had only had three low-charting singles in the US: " Purple Haze " peaked on the Billboard Hot 100 at # 65, with " Foxy Lady " at # 67 and a track taken from Axis, " Up From the Skies ," at # 82.

The CD release in the late 1980s from Reprise Records is notable for being one of the few CDs to use the CD + G technology that would display graphics while the CD plays on certain systems hooked into a television.

The song was later included on the 1965 Reprise compilation Baby Don't Go-Sonny & Cher and Friends, which also included songs from artists such as Bill Medley, The Lettermen and The Blendells.

on independent label Oak Records produced by lead-guitarist Pete Anderson ; this was later re-released by Reprise records, with several additional tracks, as his major-label debut LP, 1986's Guitars, Cadillacs, Etc., Etc ..

A six-and-a-half-minute edit of " Turn On Your Lovelight " was issued first on Warner / Reprise Loss Leader album The Big Ball in 1970, and later on Skeletons from the Closet: The Best of Grateful Dead.

The group also co-released some of their later albums on Sire / Reprise Records and Rykodisc.

It later appeared on a Backtrack budget LP release but before long replaced the original mix on all Polydor reissues and re-pressings, outside of French Barclay territory and US / Canada Reprise, including the first UK CD.

Cleo later duetted with Russell again on his third album Reprise on the song " The Best That Love Can Be ".

Shootyz Groove then moved to Reprise Records and resurfaced two years later with High Definition and gained popularity with single " L Train ".
