In 1997, Systems & Control students at Bodmin College constructed Roadblock, a robot which entered and won the first series of Robot Wars and was succeeded by " The Beast of Bodmin " ( presumably named after the phantom cat purported to roam Bodmin Moor ).

The book was published in November, 2011 under the title I, Robot: To Protect.

The first screen adaptation of an Asimov robot stories was the third episode of the British television series Out of This World based on " Little Lost Robot " ( 1962 ).

This film project was ultimately abandoned, but Ellison's script was later published in book form as I, Robot: The Illustrated Screenplay ( 1994 ).

While this earlier script had no direct connections with Asimov, it was considered suitably ' Asimovian ' in nature ( being a locked room mystery with robot suspects ) to provide the basis for an I, Robot movie.

In I, Robot, the main method is stated to be solar space stations, which are apparently obsolete by the time of the interview with Susan Calvin.

There is also another set of novels by various authors ( Isaac Asimov's Robot City, Robots and Aliens and Robots in Time series ), loosely connected to the Robots Series, but containing many inconsistencies with Asimov's books, which are not generally considered canon.

By 2011, with the help of Reinhard Stompe, the list of ROM images included Circus, Robot Bowl, Car Polo, Side Trak, Ripcord, Fire One, Crash, Star Fire and its unreleased upgrade Star Fire II, Targ, Spectar, Hard Hat, Victory, Teeter Torture, Fax, and Top Gunner.

In 1973 he played the title character in Babel II, and then went on to play the lead role in many Super Robot anime, such as Nagare Ryou in Getter Robo, Akira Hibiki in Yuusha Raideen, Jimmy Orion in Mechander Robo, and Takuma Ichimonji in Wakusei Danguard Ace.
