For elections to the Scottish Parliament, Dalneigh is divided between the constituencies of Ross, Skye and Inverness West and Inverness East, Nairn and Lochaber, and the area is part of the Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey constituency for elections to the UK Parliament.
The rest of the latter was divided between two new constituencies, Ross, Skye and Lochaber and Inverness, Nairn, Badenoch and Strathspey.

Achduart ( Gaelic: Achadh Dhubhaird ) is a small hamlet in Coigach, in Wester Ross in northwestern Scotland, now within the Highland council area.
