In World of Warcraft, the Ruby Slippers are a pair of level 70 epic cloth shoes dropped by the Wizard of Oz-themed " opera event " in the Karazhan raid instance.

Among other variations of the story was van Outens portrayal of Dorothy as a spoiled, wealthy socialite who wasn't above using profanity and the origin of the Ruby Slippers, which are shown as being obtained by the Witch of the East after falling off the feet of a previous visitor from over the rainbow, played by Salmon, when she wished to return home.

She arranges for Dorothy to return to the Land of Oz by means of the Ruby Slippers, because the Wicked Witch of the West has been brought back to life, and Glinda needs Dorothy's help to set things right again.

Before she enters the ornament room, The Nome King reveals to her that he conquered the Emerald City courtesy of her discarded Ruby Slippers.

As the palace crumbles and they seem to have no means of escaping, Dorothy finds the Ruby Slippers and wishes for the Emerald City to return to normal and for her and her friends to escape, which they do.

( Although Hamilton was never officially credited for this third role, the Witch that she played in the tornado sequence is undoubtedly the Witch of the East: she is wearing the Ruby Slippers.

The sawed-off law was the law used against Randy Weaver in the case that lead to the Ruby Ridge incident.

Ruby Ridge was the site of a deadly confrontation and siege in northern Idaho in 1992 because Randy Weaver refused to be an informant for the federal government.

The Weaver property was located in northern Idaho in Boundary County, on a hillside on Ruby Creek opposite Caribou Ridge near Naples.

The two events that contributed to the formation and growth of the Michigan Militia were the Federal standoff at the Branch Davidian church in Waco, Texas ( see Waco Siege ) and the Federal standoff with the Weaver family in Ruby Ridge, Idaho.

Sessions was FBI director during the controversial 1992 confrontation at Ruby Ridge, Idaho, at which the unarmed Vicky Weaver was shot dead by an FBI sniper.

Randall Claude " Randy " Weaver ( born January 3, 1948 ) is a former Green Beret who was caught in the deadly confrontation with U. S. federal agents at Ruby Ridge, Idaho, in 1992.

To follow Vicki's vision of her family surviving the apocalypse in a remote area, the Weaver family moved to a property in remote Ruby Ridge, Idaho, and built a cabin there in the early 1980s.

The DOJ Ruby Ridge Task Force Report ( 1994 ) records that Faderley stated Weaver showed him an unaltered shotgun and Faderley pointed out where he wanted Weaver to cut the gun.

Weaver was charged with multiple crimes relating to the Ruby Ridge incident, a total of ten counts including the original firearms charges and murder.
